Robbie Williams started his Let Me Entertain You Tour and on the setlist is Bohemian Rhapsody. Robbie Williams was once named a new possible frontman for Queen after doing a single together. check out his version of Bo Rhap. Although i love Robbie Williams i think Adam is the perfect new guy for Queen. I see too much Robbie in Robbie Williams. Good morning! I don't know much about him other than he is more popular in the UK than the US, and he sang a bit at the Olympics (I think). I have no opinion other than what I'm seeing/hearing on this video. I think this is a very odd performance. It seems very disjointed (he sings only here and there), and his singing is out of tune, especially at the beginning. The high notes sound very strained. It also seems odd that he is using the Queen video/audio. My last diss is that he seems old, worn out, tired. Maybe he was sick or something. He's only 8 years older than Adam. I did like the timbre of his voice when he was singing in tune and in an appropriate range. I might look up another video to see what there is to see.

Yes, I am biased in Adam's favor, and for me no one else can measure up. But, this is badly out of tune! Flat notes all over the place. Maybe his monitors aren't working? Or does Williams have pitch problems on other songs? (I have never heard him before.) same here, turned it off, found it painful. For me it was mostly the phrasing, dragging, out of sync, yes and flat too. I do think he has done it better than this, actually. The amazing thing is that so many people, Robbie included are so much closer in natural range to Freddie, as compared to Adam, whose voice sits so much higher. But it does not matter, he beats them all...and by a mile, in spite of that.

I am a big Robbie Williams fan and for me he can't do wrong. But singing Queen and especially Bohemian Rhapsody wasn't his best choice - lol! He's still a big star here in Europe and we love him more for his showmanship than for his voice. His voice is (normally) really good but far from perfect. Robbie is the born entertainer, he sings wonderful pop and swing and when I've seen him last year live in Berlin, he was SPECTACULAR! He is a very open, charming, funny and vulnerable person and went through lots of bad stuff in his life, but he's overcome all of these obstacles and his fans love him especially for that. Strange that I love Robbie AND Adam - they couldn't be more different ETA: And with saying that they are different I didn't mean that Adam isn't funny, vulnerable or open ...

I would like to welcome a new member who just joined this morning. She hasn't posted yet but maybe a big welcome will bring her out so she can tell you her story on how she discovered Adam.WELCOME SASSYME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I meet our new member at Winstar on NYE - yeah, the NYE before THE NYE - what we will always just think about now when we see "NYE". She had her family with her including her very good sport husband who still looked like he would rather have been in a dentist's chair before the show began. LOL We didn't know about QAL NA tour as yet but shared that we would keep in touch and meet again. I couldn't go to Dallas but she did on her on though I tried to hook her up with Atoppers. She emailed this morning asking whether Adam is releasing any solo music and I said "Gurl, get thee to Adamtopia!"

... mmadamimadamm @mmadamimadamm 56m56 minutes ago RT @katzolicious:
All of Murray's FB post: " Idk where Adam Lambert has been for the last year but I'm goona need him to get his ass back into gear and give me some new music.. Bec I'm obsessed w his voice " ETA In this case embedding madam's RT of katzo's tweet that contains a screencap doesn't help at all. The FB link doesn't work and there isn't a clickable link to Murray's original tweet - because it's a pic. IDK... perhaps better to go to Murray's twitter and embed the original tweet, links would work then. But actually IMO, the best would be to go to Murray's FB and post the whole text, that way we would get the info (and no extra pics or redundant embedded material). This is getting trickier and trickier - and bringing tweets embedded and text duplicates is a lot of work. I do hope the technical details get sorted out for all of us, then the new easy way would be quite enough in most cases. (BTW When I mentioned earlier the need for duplicates due to possible deleting of the original I was thinking only of the most important things for everybody to see and keep for archives, ie new music, studio IGs etc.)
