 So lovely to see a label doing their job!! It seems to me that WB is going beyond "normal" for this single. They have been promoting it to radio personnel in the US for over 8 weeks, they have important stations' personalities making public statements about the song -- like Z100 and Q102 and Hot995, and they seem to be all over Mainstream Pop and HAC with it. Looks like they are going for a big opening week on radio! One thing we do not know is what station and who has the debut? Seems like it could be Z100 - Elvis Duran Show - which is over 75 stations. I have been in a bubble for a few days, do we have any clues? *** Also, I am betting this MV is out very close to the song release date. Uh.. did you remember Adam's first PR person? That guy working for Simon Fuller Management company. He's always with Adam for all Adam's public appearance and he's not shy of camera at all. Shoshanna rarely accompany Adam, unless he's in London. Anything in US, Adam's usually have one of DMG Manager with him.
The blond guy with the longish hair and dark-rimmed glasses? Wasn't that Roger?
Oh yes.. Roger. Phew.. how easy I forgot.. LOL

Holy crap, no kidding !!!!!  Well, being entitled, will we be able to watch here in the US....somehow? I'm not familiar with how RIR is broadcast...stream, online, released later....etc. From an article about the 2011 festival: "Finally, for those who cannot attend the festival, the shows will be broadcast live on the official Rock in Rio YouTube channel and on Globo TV channels. I think it was discussed at the end of yesterday. Everyone was trying to figure out what the 20th REALLY meant. The station is in Seattle. The 20th is the day before release date. He clearly said they would be playing it on the 20th. There should be no confusion about what day he is talking about. If you are talking about the worldwide release, it is my understanding that it will become available on itunes at 12:01ish US Eastern time. For those countries that are not on odd release like the UK the song will be available at whatever local time corresponds to 12:01 US Eastern time. |

I did not check out these scans....but it is ALSO a FREE DOWNLOAD although you do have to use your iTunes code. I started reading the article and it is is actually .....really very interesting, and some parts relate right back to Brian, Roger and Adam. WHY NOT let the magazine writers know how many are enjoying the read by itunes tracking versus reading scans of it. Kinda like linking to the media who write articles....giving credit.  Or do both....with the download it stays on your bookshelf. ....maybe this imageban is like itunes?...I do not know the product...but ....the word scans was my trigger. Just to add to stampsgal's comment, as an added incentive to get the free iTunes download of the Load-In Magazine, there are 3 videos embedded in the article: - 8 minutes of interview footage w/Brian, Roger and Adam from the press conference prior to the European tour - the Premier Guitar interview with Pete Maladrone and Brian - the funny BTS video from the crew I know that we have seen all three already, but now you can have a copy of your very own! |

As I recall... there was discussion as to whether this would be after 9 pm western or during his show, which is earlier in the day. Like I said, best just to go back and read the discussion. There was more than one idea bouncing around. |

In case you haven't been following the charts recently, The Billboard Hot 100 now takes into account sales AND streaming, including YouTube. It no longer makes any sense to withhold a music video until mid-cycle, since it's more effective to release it at the same time as the single release to maximize chart position
