Speaking of the royl wedding
Lynx0526 Alex by pomegranate02 @ @gocheeksgo ...you mean the government won't pay for my wedding? Well shit. As a compromise, I propose they at least let everyone HAVE one.

Aww Pastababy what a nice story. It warms my heart. Amazing how friendships are created and the circumstances. Thank you. I really wanted to share something beautiful. Sorry if it was too long.

*Applause* for cassie. You summed it up beautifully.
That's a pretty picture, lindy, and I love her dress. Does anyone else feel as if it was just yesterday we were watching Charles and Diana get married? Yikes, time does fly.

I'm so curious about this concert - do you mind if I pummel you with some questions? Have you been to a Maxidrom concert before? Are you going mostly 'cuz of Adam? Are there other acts you're looking forward to? Is it considered a showcase for "popular" music (Bruno Mars, Adam) or more "alternative" bands (Korn, Rammstein)? Hi bridget! Of course, I don't mind! I've never been to ANY kind of concert, especially one this big. Moreover, I've never been to Moscow although I have many friends living there. Actually, this will be the 1st time I'll even fly on a plane!!! Adam, Adam, Adam, and his band are the only reason I'm going there! Crazy, isn't it?! Apart from seeing live the most gorgeous man to ever walk on the earth, I'll do a lot of sightseeing and will hang out with old friends of mine. Soooo excited! Maxidrom is mostly an alternative music fest. A lot of heavy rock fans look forward to slamming and drinking lots of beer. Ewww :-[ I checked out previous years - Lenny Cravitz, Placebo, Franz Ferdinand, HIM were there along with many of russian rock bands. This year they promote it as the first international festival that adheres to European standards. Maybe that's why they invited Adam. DJ's on the radio were all positive about him! Now they promise to introduce two more headliners from abroad. I wonder who they are. I am sooo jealous! Have a great time and since this is your first time seeing Adam, don't record! Enjoy the entire experience of just watching him! You also get to see Korn! Zac, their keyboardist, did some shows with Adam! Is anyone, besides me thinking that, Suz526 and/or libracatz will be at this show? Thanks mys*&@^#r50! I surely will enjoy! I wonder what it takes to stay sane and not to pass out during an Adam Lambert concert ;D Suz526 is coming??? She is amaaazing! I saw all Glamnation shows she recorded! Such a gift for those fans who missed it. I hope she will go!

They make a beautiful couple and when he becomes king, he will be the people's king. I think they will bypass Charles and pass it to Will. He looks so much like Diana, handsome and tall and has her personality, but unfortunately he inherited the balding gene from her.

I am just now catching up with the thread, so the issue of Adam commenting on the Idols, James in particular, may be dead, and my point made already. But, heck, y'all frequently ask me my opinion of other singers, so I thought I would chime in. I agree with what Adam said about James.... pretty much. I DIDN'T think he had been pitch perfect, so Adam was actually kinder than I have been about James on the Idol thread. Adam is what I would call an "expert witness." Everybody has an opinion about the Idol contestants. That's why the show is so popular. But, few have the singing and performance background, the knowledge of technique, the experience with how to interpret and deliver a song and make it unique. Adam is uniquely qualified to render his opinion, as an expert. With everyone and their brother/sister talking about the Idols, who they like, who they think should go home, and everyone commenting on the lack of valid, constructive feedback from the judges, I do not understand why Adam is expected to refrain from giving his honest opinion. Is it BECAUSE he really knows what he is talking about? BECAUSE he can walk the walk, not just talk the talk? Is it BECAUSE his opinion will, therefore hold more weight in the public's or the contestants' eyes? So, would some prefer that only the untrained or uneducated express their opinions? Or should no one but the judges say what they think? I just don't get it. There was nothing vicious, mean-spirited or personal about what Adam said. It was focused and on-target, IMO. If the Idols cannot bear to hear critiques from people in the industry, what are they doing going on Idol and trying to break into the industry? They will constantly be hearing everyone's opinion of their work. Industry moguls, PR people, media, reviewers, fans, haters, paps, and people who walk up to them in the supermarket. They will also constantly hear people's unsolicited opinions about their hair, make-up, facial hair, clothes, boots, boyfriends, and behavior even in their free time. I would think that the opinion of an insider would be welcome, even if it is not glowing. Okay, climbing back off my soap box. Thank for being so eloquent as usual.
