If I squint a lot, I get this:
US ? ? ? Adam Lambert turned up at the ASCAP pop awards in Hollywood with gigantic hair, bushy brows, and a bizarre beard, and looking like a weird werewolf? or warlock?
Also, of course, "Madame Lambert."

nonotme - Is there a video? I thought there was and that I saw it yesterday, but no else has refered to it and I couldn't find it. Do you know where to find it? I remember thinking yesterday when the Hollywood Reporter article came out - "Oh, this is based on that red carpet interview!" The "over it" comment is not printed as a complete statement - it is used out of context in the author's sentence. Given what we have seen over the last 2 years, I tend to discount anything in a written article that is presented that way.....

This wasn't a fan to begin with. You take the good with the bad. Adam didn't do anything bad - just gave an opinion. Love the jealously angle, though. Delusional much. If you check the pic, that person had "1" post to say "I'm outta here"......um yeah :  : : |

This is so much fun. We are all so different. From conservative to liberal, from prude to pervert. I had so much fun last night with that turtle video. I am sorry if I offended anyone. I am old and I don't care what I say anymore. The last two years have changed me, and I really try to curb my mouth. I remember old ladies like me when I was a young girl. I never thought I would be one, but I am. I argue now, swear, and just rip off any old thing. I really don't mean to offend. Even my sex life is better now that I am an old lady. My husband is blaming it on watching "Big Love." He says he can't help himself. He is old too. ;D ;D ;D  ;D ;D |

There is no problem with people being critical of Adam here. He is not perfect and I think everyone here knows that. And in this same thread there are critical comments about Adam's formality in his presentation of the ASCAP Award. The entire point of this forum is to have a discussion. Regarding James: I am not sure what Adam might want to apologize for. Adam was asked about James and responded to a reporter's question. Should he also apologize for his critique of Jacob Lusk? Or is James be more deserving of special treatment than Jacob? I do not recall anyone saying here (or on any Idol blog) that Adam should apologize to Jacob. I think it is fine to say that you disagree with Adam, or even recommend that he should apologize, but I think it is important to be willing to have people disagree with that opinion. If Adam apologized, what would he say? And finally, there is some unfairness going on with the judge's comments on Idol this year (Nigel and the judges are really pushing James and Casey, but really negative about Haley and Scott) and I think that is the reason Adam, so many prominent Idol alums and Idol bloggers are so strongly supporting Haley. NOTE: It is OK to discuss Adam's comment, or why he has decided to so strongly support Haley in the news thread. But if you want to discuss AI10, there is a thread for that in the members section.I never said anything about Adam apologizing. I wanted to support Irish because she wrote the word "apology", her opinion was not popular and, as sometimes happens, person after person started posting in adamant disagreement. Everyone has a right to their opinion. However when it is one person with an unpopular opinion I tend to think two or three negative reactions is enough. No reason to pile on more. The person gets the idea. On that note I need a little break. Back later. I understand -- I think Irish's comment raised an interesting question but did not notice it until your comment -- so I quote both comments. The question that intrigued me was ---- Should Adam apologize? If so, what for? And if he apologized to James, why not Jacob? For me, I do not think Adam (or anyone else) should apologize for their opinion as long as it is not based on hate. But that is just my opinion. So, that makes the next two questions moot for me. |
