Wow, SusieFierce, this is stunning! I prefer it to the image they used. Artistically, the lines of this bring it alive..it is in motion, yet balanced. You are right, stunning.  Look at his lips, his eyebrows, his jawline, his neck – the detail of his hair and the wings; the texture of his jacket. Even if he wasn't the most gorgeous photographic subject I ever saw, I would be amazed by this photo. ETA: And BTW, white on white is REALLY hard to light and shoot. Then they went for the pale makeup, etc. Very ambitious.  |

YAY!!!!! I got my signed Adam pic in the mail today!!!!He is so friggin gorgeous and hot in this pic! And his name was written beautifully! My scientific guess for the 2,000,000 twitter contest: derived from: 13,000 new followers each week divided by 1,000,000 = 76 weeks 13,000 x 15 weeks = 195,000 25,000 bump from appearance on X Factor in the fall 50,000 bump from new album in October new follow rate of 25,000 per week after album drops plus 3 Leno, Ellen, other TV appearance bumps + 75,000 All bumps = 345,000 remaining 655,000 divided by 25,000 =26 weeks from album drop date (end of Oct.) end of April: is the calculated date - 2 months cause Adam is just that awesome Feb 28, 2011 @ 7:45 p.m. Adam time April  Luv your calculations, BTW ;D ;D Did you mean 2012, or have you been visiting those phone booths Dr. Who used? hehe  |

Yes, the kid made me cry, too. What a beautiful voice - what a fabulous talent - - and he owned it; I could see his body move to the music. He felt what he was singing; he was beyond mom and dad in the wings. He may go very far. We should remember his name. But his name is not Adam. He is not a 'young Adam'. In my mind, there is only one. I don't know how Adam would have sounded, or how self-assured he would have been, or if there would have been tears, when he was twelve. I do know I would give my right arm for a video - or just an audio - of 'Lily's Eyes'. I met Adam's uncle last month. He told me that when Adam was 'ten or twelve' he was visiting the family, and he heard something upstairs. 'Is that the radio?' he asked. 'No - that's Adam" - - - And 'Unca Dave' went upstairs, opened the door a crack, and "listened to the most beautiful sound I've ever heard - Adam singing". There is nothing more to say. Mika, I think there is a difference between the type of "fanwars" you are referring to and what I referenced. Seeking out sites to intentionally say nasty things isn't fanwarring, that's trolling and I'm not sure how anyone gets enjoyment out of that. However, I post on several "non" Adam centric boards and I quite enjoy pushing back on the bitter fans of others who have nasty things to say about Adam and like to call him various names or degrade his accomplishments. If that makes me immature, I'll own my immaturity without apology and keep on doing it because to not do it allows them to go unchecked and say whatever they want and 99% of what they say is total bullshit. YMMV and good for you in being above it all. I think I have seen your posts in a couple of places and have enjoyed immensely. I too have posted responses in a couple of forums and articles when the lies and delusions need a reality check. In one forum the accusations of jealousy and bitterness were too much to bear and I set some facts out and questioned exactly what does Adam have to be jealous and bitter about. The bashing continued without an answer so I asked again and the thread promptly got locked, lol. They were never able to give me a response so they reported the thread claiming it was being polluted by Adam. The thread was titled Adam 2.0, lolololololol. Maybe it was childish but I couldn't sit back. Oh well, it really was the only time I got slightly aggressive but it felt good. |
