I was lucky to hear Broken Open with Acoustic Guitar at the Brisbane GNT concert
I do have a video, a little shaky and grainy but it is his voice and interruption I love.

The video Smokey posted for that 12-year old singing Feeling Good reminds me of Jal Joshua, another 12-year old who was runner-up in Australia Got Talent last year (I have a thing for runner-ups, LOL  ). This just tweeted; holy hell, that is an AMAZING photo. Not just Adam, but the bird.   Okay, after further analysis, I will say this photo is a fucking museum piece. It is brilliant, stunning, breathtaking ... How did they not use this in the layout? And if I was the photographer, I would have been pimping this to the skies. It is perfection. Ahhhh..so stunning. Thank you for sharing.  This picture and the bird talk combined with BO talk made me think of his Fantasy Springs version. Look at his hands. They are like some mystical bird telling a sacred tale. God, what was it about this show and especially BO and WLL? Adam was just so at peace and in the moment it really was like he tapped into some residual shamanistic mojo in Indio. Love your post mika and am thinking of getting a book from that link for a couple of my young relatives who cant go a minute without being plugged into the "interwebs". And momtomany, thank for sharing your story of young Adam.   |
