Totally agree with this^^. The comments on TOB is becoming ridiculous...all those sharks circling...It was ridiculous 2 years ago and it's ridiculous now. :  This jealousy thing from the fans of others really need to stop. I AM SO OVER IT : What's TOB? LOL; I was wondering that too. The only thing I can think of is "the other board," as in MJ's, but it's really a wild guess on my part. |

That one is  too. How do people stan someone who looks the same all the time? I feel like we stan a freaking grab bag (or maybe it's a magic carpetbag  ) full of awesome (and soooo much pretty). |

That Zodiac/Crawl Thru Fire vid is one of my favorites ever. It shows the whole spectrum of AFL (as someone said earlier). How could anyone watch this and NOT fall in love with the guy? It really does!! I've watched it like three times in a row. From little boy creative adorkable to fierce sex god tearing up the stage.  Regarding fan wars, since I almost never go to MJ's or anyplace else where Idol people congregate, I don't know, but I DO think there is sometimes some animosity with say Cook and Kris fans, but not much. And you're right, they always seem to involve Adam. I think it's largely because no matter what, he overshadows everyone else. He has the most media attention, the most Twitter followers, the successful tour, the major collaborators ... they always have to try to knock down the person at the top. I say let them try; it only brings more notoriety to Adam. What I can't take is the disgusting, hateful stuff; I try not to give those freaks any attention other than to block and report, but still it enrages. I am an Idol Loon and have been BSC about the show since season 1. I would say the only 2 seasons that did not spawn big fan wars was S1 and S7. S1 because it was so new and the show manufactured a romance between Kelly and Justin. There was some hate from Tamyra fans though. S2 huge fan wars! S3, the same because of the 3 divas, Fantasia, Jennifer, and ??the third??. Season 4, between the Bo and Carrie fans, "YES!!" 'Carrie was boring,' 'a rocker can never win,' etc. Season 5 may have been the worst. So much hate for Daughtry that still continues, to this day, from many Taylor fans. There were even hate boards for Daughtry. Season 6, yes. Lots of hate for Jordin from Blake fans. Season 7, David Cook and Archuleta always treated each other like big and little brothers, so I think this may be a season that had the smallest amount of fan wars. However, Cook fans are now jealous of the attention that Adam gets, both in the press and from RCA. They are all praying for huge numbers for his upcoming album. (I like Cook, a lot and am also hoping for his success. Album #2 is scary for Idols.) Which brings us to Season 8 and as Susie says, everyone has the guy at the top as their target. :-/ (Sorry, too long and maybe off topic. I can delete it if Q3 so desires.) |

Wow, I can't believe they had hate boards for Daughtry. I really hope they give the contestants a head's up about all this shit when they go in. That has to mess with your mind. Someone told me on Twitter that Ed posted on AO that RCA and 19 both reported the psycho account. Wish Twitter didn't take so long to take down hate accounts.

Yay! Green shirt appreciation day! Love that shirt, looks great on him. Didn't we even see it hanging in the closet when Cheeks dis some program on MTV (not sure if it was MTV), making over some guy.
You know he still has it hanging in his closet somewhere.
I so agree Susiefierce....can't imagine what it must be like to follow someone else....feel slightly bad for fans of others that wait weeks & months for some crumb of info or pic. I fear I'd be long gone.

And that pose where he's laying down on the boat is.......    hey gelly How did you link those pics...as when I tried to post earlier it said proboards would not allow ...so I deleted my written part of my post. (said they were copyrighted). How does this stuff work? I thought (rightly or wrongly) if it allowed me to save to personal files, it would be okay. Some do not allow you to save. So am I going to get into trouble if "someone...sometime" figures out I have these pics saved? Did I pick them up from a different source than you did? If it is okay ...I never did save all the pics of that trip ...Sutan was illustrating the group and those pics are pretty cute...if you have them....love to see them again. |
