Perhaps I'm worrying too much but I fear that Ghost Town might not be radio friendly - dark lyrics that teens may not be able to understand or relate to. Singing about the vampires in Hollywood is quite different from Taylor Swift whining about her ex-boyfriends. BB, pleaseeeee don't think all teens are so shallow that they only care about T Swift-esque songs. Look at what's currently getting lots of radio play nowadays - you'll find there's quite a diverse group of songs currently on Top 40 radio, subject matter-wise compared to what you're thinking of. Tove Lo's Habits. "Dementor Anthems" by Sam Smith. Uptown Funk. Take Me To Church. Don't worry, be happy. I sure am!

had more to say, but couldn't get the type to change.... It sounds just like Adam - creative, moving, soulful, yet spunky, and dark. Love the beat, the whistling, the huge notes in the middle, the words, very catchy and very much Hollywood. Very cool that he sent us some of the lyrics along the way, did anyone else figure that out?
Awesome!

OMFG!!!!! I JUST LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEE GHOST TOWN!!!!!!!!!! I don't know how many times I've listened now, but the more I do, the more I love it!!! I have to admit, first listen, it wasn't what I expected, but not in a bad way, just that it wasn't what I thought was going to be. BUT!!!!!!!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!! The more I listen, HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!! So much to hear each time I listen. I've never liked music turned up really loud....except for Adam. I can't have it loud enough!!!!!! So, I'm blasting out my ears right now and lovin' every minute of it!! LOL!! I had it up on youtube when I read that it had gone private. hehehe I'm still listening...oops, did I already say that? Chair dancing away, enjoying the fuck out of this song!!!!!!! Thank you, Universe!!!!!!!!!!!! So damn good to hear Adam's voice so front and center!!!!! OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!! That drum is just killin' me!!! And, I love the finger snaps!! So much in there...so Adam!!! Still can't get iTunes right, but don't care right now. I'll figure it out somehow!! Think it's time for another cocktail!!!!!! GO ADAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (prolly should have had supper before the cocktails...lol! Oops!!) OH GOD.............. HIS VOICE!!!!!!!!! Killin' me I tell ya!!!!!!!! So happy I don't have to work tomorrow!! woooooooooo hooooooooooo!! I don't take many days off, but this one was special & I have no regrets. Back to my chair dancing!! FOUND A STREAMING LINK ON TUMBLR. I'M LISTENING RIGHT NOW HOLY SHIT. IT. IS. PERFECTION. I'M JAMMING IN MY ROOM. HIS VOICE SOUNDS AMAZING. THE WHISTLE RIFF IS CATCHY AF THIS SONG HAS A CLEAR ARC AND I'M LOVING IT. THE SECOND VERSE SOUNDS ESPECIALLY LIKE EAR-CANDY TO ME - ESPECIALLY THE LAST LINE!
MY OTHER FAVORITE PART IS THE VERY END - OMG IT TAPERS OFF FROM EPICNESS INTO NOTHING AND IS SO AWESOME ADAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM <3 <3 <3 <3
Thanks for your opinion. I LOVE the second verse the first time I listen to the song. The ending of the song makes people like.. what????? and want to listen more..
YESSSSSSSSSS THE SECOND VERSE IS WHERE THE SONG IS GETTING READ TO TAKE OFF...AND THEN.....WHAM! THE DROP INTO THE CHORUS AFTER THE FIRST VERSE IS LIKE A BIRD TAKING OFF, WHILE AFTER THE SECOND VERSE IT'S LIKE A JET TAKING OFF. IDK IF I'M EVEN MAKING SENSE, BUT WHATEVER. I NEED CAPSLOCK WHEN I TALK ABOUT IT!

I'm trying to picture how Adam will sing this live on Idol.....and I'm having a hard time. lol. With that beat...guess there will be dancers. Wonder what he'll do during the whistling part. Don't see any problem with it being performed live. All the backing, including the whistling, can be reproduced on a keyboard or two along with the initial acoustic guitar. Actually quite simple. And if I remember rightly, there are no backing vocals. Just Adam's voice up front. What are the challenges to a live performance? The only challenge I can think of is if he actually does the whistle live. Then a million Glamberts will faint. Note: I realize that is synth whistling, just joking.

I have listened a couple times. I never like songs right away. I have to listen to songs over and over and then decide. The one thing I did decide is that I love Adam's voice. I have to think awhile for adjectives describing my feelings as I listened to that beautiful, simple sound. Lovely is one word that came to mind. Lonely is another. I can't wait to read your reviews.

Well, I guess I forgot that artists like Adele could sing songs that actually say something and radio would play them. Thanks for calming me down!

It is like crack! The more you get the more you want! And Fuck "radio friendly" this is Adam being creative! That said, they will love it! Yeh, it is just like crack That beat would move furniture and the vocals are alternately gorgeous and driving.
