Maybe I hit a batch update but I just checked a little while ago and the lyric vid was at 590,000 and now it is over 596,000. That seems like a nice jump in a fairly short time - unless it was a batch thing (ETA I posted the 590,000 15 minutes ago - must have been a batch thing but I am now inspired to keep an eye on it. Not tooooooo excited and anxious or anything! YouTube only does real time updates to 301 plays. After that it is batch updates and they discard all plays that are not complete, and most of the plays from repeat plays. If you want every play to count, the only way to do it is to play the song, let it go to the next video and have that start, then manually replay GT. You can play GT continuously using a playlist and some of the plays (looks like 3%-5%) will be counted. But I tested this yesterday and I could more on the counter by doing it manually. Also, skipping the ads does not effect the counter. ** The increase rate has declined a bit since yesterday. It was about 16 hours for the last 100,000. This one will be about 17 hours. But the next one should be a bit faster -- it is Friday night.  Now it is over 602,000. Looks like 12,000 per hour - that's moving faster. Maybe we can get to 1,000,000 |

I'm listening to my local AM radio, a Clear Channel affiliate, at the moment. They just played a corporate commercial for iHeartRadio. The beginning of the commercial had a quick mash-up of maybe 5 songs. The first song in the sequence was the opening 5 notes of Ghost Town's whistle chorus. What a surprise that was to hear so unexpectedly! I'd think the commercial spot must have been recorded prior to the release of Ghost Town, so iHeartRadio had an early commitment to giving the song exposure. Thank you, WBR!
Another thought on the Brian May twitter teases about Adam vis a vis Elvis. Brian has an unreleased cover version of a song that was a big hit for Elvis in 1961 - #1 in the UK and #4 in the US. Brian recorded this version 8 years ago, though he never released it.
Maybe Brian's thinking of releasing the track with Adam singing the vocals. Or maybe not.  Oh!! Wow!! That's great iHeart is using GT beginning whistle as one of about five songs in their mash up!! Thanks for this Brian cover video. I remember that Elvis song. I enjoyed Brian's cover. Talon have you seen this Brian video? |

OK! Here is my Ghost Twon video script! Adam has a strong Tequila induced dream. Many images of old Hollywood icons, like his IGs from last night, plus the crumbled Hollywood sign. Very sexy dancing on the choruses!! It is all bl and white until the ending. The ending is him waking up, in color, sitting up in bed, close up on his eyes, then a pull away shot to bare shoulders and arms. Oh and very fluffy hair!! i want this!! ❤️ Oh... you just planted quite the image in my head. Hmm hmmmmmm.  I like it One more thing! The dancers will have very sexy costumes on, but their face make up will be reminiscent of skeletons! |

I have played GT video at least a dozen times and the count has only increased by 2. Does that sound right to everyone? Is there a replay button on You Tube video? Sent you PM. |

We have video now for the Brit LGBT Award Show but I can't get any sound. It looks like this is before the show and they are eating right now I think. Maybe we'll get sound when the show starts.lol ETA: Heck I don't know what this vdeo is...it just goes for a few minutes and ends.  ETA 2: Lynneville lynneville 4m4 minutes ago that Brit LGBT awards stream... isn't. Now showing a 13 minute recording with no sound. Not live atm

If not that, then perhaps adding the song to their SA set list would qualify as a little storm. I'm thinking yes, it would. |
