OK, what is wrong with my math? I figured about 7K an hour would fulfill hitting 1 million by Sunday night, but everyone is saying the pace is too slow to hit it! Is my math off? 48 hours from now it will be 10pm Central and to get to 1 million will require 7193 views per hour. OK, so my math's right. I rounded the 7K. It has been getting more than this per hour so why are people saying the current pace is off?? |

OK, what is wrong with my math? I figured about 7K an hour would fulfill hitting 1 million by Sunday night, but everyone is saying the pace is too slow to hit it! Is my math off? That is 49 hours to go. 345K to go. It needs 7,000 an hour to hit 1 million at midnight Monday. Right now 11:10 update is 655,640 -- so around +13,000 a hour. It will slow down over night but it is accelerating not declining. I think it could make it to 1 million by Sunday 11:59PM. Perhaps people think you mean 12:00AM Sunday which is midnight on Sunday? |

Hmmm, I meant end of Sunday! Thanks!! This is the first time I remember an Adam video gaining like this over time. It is not exactly viral but it really does seem to be gaining viewers. |

This LGBT Music Icon Award . . . . my pride for Adam knows no bounds!
It was only a few short years ago when Adam performed at (I think it was) G.A.Y. in London . . . . wore a suit and sang (once again, relying on memory alone) FYE and maybe one other song.
At the end of the performance, he said a few words along the line of 'we need to embrace the diversity within our own community' . . . . and the reception, or, the comments afterwards, were decidedly lukewarm . . .
Adam was living his honest life, and, by example, leading a quiet charge about welcoming diversity and difference in all people, back then. I didn't really understand it at first; I didn't grasp that even within the LGBT 'community' there could be some sort of unspoken behavior 'rules' and levels of tolerance. Count me among the many whose eyes have been opened through the example set by Adam Lambert. He's done so much more than merely 'pave the way'. He has shown the way.
