hmmm, I actually think that a lot of dj's and media outlets have addressed this two Ghosttowns topic with a lot of class, and with respect for Adam.
Those radio stations as well as reporters have a big day, when they have the madge in the house or if they can talk to her. And many djs have grown up in her era and love her. They could technically walk all over Adam with that, but they don't. If they do bring up the topic at all, they do it very nicely and lead into the question with positive remarks.
Everybody seems all of a sudden on Adam's side. For those of us, who are on the third album release cycle or technically 7th single, this roll-out is a remarkable and beautiful thing to watch. And it also shows how many things went wrong for Adam in the past. I think that many insiders saw that TSP did not get a fair chance for various reasons, Billboard was pretty vocal about it, actually. I think that, and the overall cultural change towards gay artists, was the start of a mind-change in radio PD/indie circles. Add to that now a label that actually wants its artist to succeed and things can happen.
It is great to see that his future looks so much brighter.

This LGBT Music Icon Award . . . . my pride for Adam knows no bounds! It was only a few short years ago when Adam performed at (I think it was) G.A.Y. in London . . . . wore a suit and sang (once again, relying on memory alone) FYE and maybe one other song. At the end of the performance, he said a few words along the line of 'we need to embrace the diversity within our own community' . . . . and the reception, or, the comments afterwards, were decidedly lukewarm . . . Adam was living his honest life, and, by example, leading a quiet charge about welcoming diversity and difference in all people, back then. I didn't really understand it at first; I didn't grasp that even within the LGBT 'community' there could be some sort of unspoken behavior 'rules' and levels of tolerance. Count me among the many whose eyes have been opened through the example set by Adam Lambert. He's done so much more than merely 'pave the way'. He has shown the way. You go girl!! Exactly. He has been way more instrumental than he EVER gets credit for.

The courage Adam has shown is truly inspiring. He has been instrumental in what can be called a "sea-change" in the perceptions and attitudes towards LGBT folks. Sort of OT, but not really considering the recognition Adam just got, I watched the TV special interview with Bruce Jenner this evening. Two hours long, and worth every minute. Some folks have criticized Jenner for being some type of a publicity hound about his transition, but it is obviously not the case. He has struggled with his gender identity his whole life, and said at one point in the interview that he was in church struggling with what to do, and came to the realization that perhaps THIS was what God had in mind for him in this life. To be this public figure, and honestly, at 65 years old, to be open about who he is, and in so doing so, to help others move towards acceptance. He, like Adam, is incredibly courageous, and inspiring. Bravo.

Having had two students in the last few years transition to female, it was well worth watching. I hope Jenner can find some peace and not be joked about.

Hmmm, I meant end of Sunday! Thanks!! This is the first time I remember an Adam video gaining like this over time. It is not exactly viral but it really does seem to be gaining viewers. So when THE video comes out (early next week?) we should expect the "general public" (and us?) to switch over to that? Or should we hit both?

So just got to tell you that, because the absurdity of this situation knows no bounds: So, here is a German article, published on Warnermusic's own Website: www.warnermusic.de/news/2015-04-24/adam-lambert-spricht-ueber-die-themen-von-the-original-high-und-der-single-ghostIt covers mostly the content of the Ryan Seacrest interview and talks about release of single and upcoming album. At the bottom, the lyric video of Ghost Town is linked in. I clicked on it, and the very familiar message comes up: 'The uploader has not made this video available in your country.' Not only is that nonsense, because I am in the US and obviously, this video is available in the US. The additional insult is that this is WB trying to release their own property to the German public and they can't because the GEMA (the German watchdog organization that controls performance rights and music publishing rights for its members) is not even allowing a label to release its own music on its very own website using youtube, supposedly to protect that label from itself, or something non-sensible like that. Germany has less access to worldwide released music than countries like Iran or China. Most younger Germans have learned how to use proxy servers, or VPN services to somehow get around this, so it is not like, the Gema is winning this battle, but for Germans it must be so difficult, I cannot even imagine anymore. Lived in the free world for too long already, cannot go back. And I knew it was bad in Germany. But that a label cannot publish its own music videos on its own website, that one was a new one, even for me. ETA: Here is some further explanation, should any of your attempt to make and sense out of this utterly ridiculous situation and wants to understand it better. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blocking_of_YouTube_videos_in_Germany
