Thanks pi! The album is doing reasonable well I guess. It peaked at #5 or #6 on Tuesday on the iTunes chart but has dropped since then to #89 last night and now it's off the chart. The single got available on Wednesday and is now #92. Peak around #60 I think. If you count in the fact that we didn't have that much promo going on here yet (only a few sites have posted about the single or album and I don't think it got played very much yet) that's pretty decent. I haven't been paying much attention to the sales of music for years already so I don't know exactly what is good or not. Q-music seems to be interested in the song at least since they have put it on Adam's profile page already with a link to the lyric video from WBR. Since I'm new I'll introduce myself some. I've been lurking for a few months now. I'm not that good with words and expressing myself, so I don't post that much. I mostly stick to the facts also when I post, but I love reading other peoples reactions. In September last year my sister asked me if I would like to go to the Queen + Adam Lambert concert in the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam on 29th of January. I agreed since I have liked Queen music since I was a kid, although I wouldn't call myself a fan, and I've never been to such a concert before. Thought it would be a nice experience. I didn't look into it very much and a few weeks before the concert I tore my Anterior cruciate ligament so it wasn't sure I would be able to go to the concert. Luckily we had seats or else I wouldn't have been able to go. Since I was on crutches it was quite the effort for me to get there and stay comfortable during the concert. Luckily my father (who also went with us) was able to help me with that and also the crowd didn't stand that much during the concert. Of course we stood up during the New Man and the Encore, but for the rest of the concert we remained seated. I also was on pain medication which I still regret somewhat, because I still think I could have enjoyed the concert even more if I was feeling fine. The concert was really great and I loved the audience singing along and clapping and all the stuff. I remember being really impressed by Adam's performance and also the joy all the band members showed us while playing. We were seated quite far back but the music was great and we could follow everything on the big screen behind the Q. I made some video's from that screen with my phone and also got the moment where Adam takes of his sunglasses during AOBTD. You can hear the crowd scream in joy because of that. I was really impressed with his eyes at that moment. I have a thing for blue eyes anyway, but his are so amazing. After the concert we had an hour to ride home and took a bit of time to relax before going to sleep, but I was so hyper and wanted to see the video's that I took right away. My sister and dad however were sleepy and didn't share my enthusiasm that much. They also had things to do the next day and it was of course quite late already. Since I was injured and couldn't do much anyway I spend the next few days lurking the internet to find out more about Adam. On Saturday I saw all the Idol's performances and after that I started digging deeper. During the next week I found out about the streams and have been listening to those until the end of the tour. I also went through some moments when we found out Adam was sick and put out my first tweet ever to wish him well. I was so anxious for Milan I almost felt sick myself. I am amazed about the fan base and about the amount of information that is available at the internet. I've never felt this way about someone that is so far away from me. It's sometimes a bit scary. He's such an amazing person and I love the way he interprets the songs and seems to change them every time he sings them. Love to hear him sing, but also to hear him speak. I really hope he get's everything he deserves. Welcome, skaschep!! You've found the right place! Once bitten by the Adam bug, no one is ever quite the same, and none of us wants to go back to life before Adam! So glad you've joined us, and thanks for sharing your story! WELCOME skaschep! A great story! Sherzie is exactly right - the life is so much better with Adam in it!

Here is another German article from the "Ampya"-internet page from yesterday! www.ampya.com/news/Aktuell/Adam-Lambert-nennt-neues-Album-The-Original-High-SN102382/I made a "loose translation" of it! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Adam Lambert names new album "The Original High"
Shortly after he enthralled tens of thousands of Queen-fans as the replacement for Freddie Mercury, Adam Lambert now cares about his own career again! In June he will release his third album "The Original High"! Not many "wannabe-popstars" manage to rise from one of the most popular casting-shows. Especially in this country the careers of the winners of DSDS* like Alexander Klaws or Mehrzad Marashi end as soon as they began. It's the same situation in the US. Besides Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood there were not many more of their casting-show "American Idol" who we heard of on the European continent. But one managed to cause a wordwide sensation - although he was only the runner-up: Adam Lambert. The openly gay singer got the knightly accolade from "Queen" in 2012 and was allowed to wow all fans of rock-music with hits like "Another one bites the dust" and "We will rock you" from that time on. Until recently he was on tour, under the name "Queen + Adam Lambert" he impressed also everyone in Berlin. But now the singer wants to go back to his own career. Adam proudly presents the follow-up of his second solo-album "Trespassing", that made history! It was the first album of a gay artist that got to number 1 in the US Billboard Charts. The follow-up, the third album of Lambert, will be named "The Original High" and it will be released on June 12th. For this album the singer teamed up with no less a figure than star-producer Max Martin, who already worked for Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Pink before. Besides there are two impressive features on Adam's third album: The Swedish "Stay High"-singer Tove Lo sings "Rumors" together with Adam and the exceptionally gifted Queen-guitarist Brian May plays his instrument on "Lucy". You can already get a first impression of the coming album when you listen to the first single "Ghost Town", that was released on the 22nd of April. (*DSDS = "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" = the German version of "American Idol"!) Thank you, betty! Very nice article! Hope to see more of the same from Germany!

I believe they count just as spotify on repeat counts.. IMHO,worth the effort no matter what. I'm doing both..what the heck I remember during the TP MV's era Q3 advised to view YT only about once every hour, at that time we though the YT algorithm disregarded prolonged repeated plays and counted only if a vid more than half a video was played. IDK how they count in 2015. For those who want and can stream on more than one service - try RDIO. It has only 2990 plays of GT and is included in 102 playlists...so it needs help there. I am using their web version and it works wonderfully! www.rdio.com/artist/Adam_Lambert/album/Ghost_Town_1/track/Ghost_Town/?apSource=t64025833
my name on RDIO is "nica nica" and you can see my playlist called "The Original High" OR just find GT and click on the repeat song to the left of the song bar once it's starts playing. I'm doing spotify. Can you see spotify stats somewhere?

Oooops, I just drove my DH out of the house. I have had GT on repeat on Spotify for approximately one hour.
I just had this overwhelming knowledge come over me that this is it for Adam. All his dreams are coming true. Also, everything we have all wanted for him is happening. Felt a panic attack coming on and had to stop and breathe for awhile. Not invested much in this man....
Now I am starting GT on repeat with his lyric video. 1,000,000 by Sunday!!!!

Google translate of Adam's part: Adam Lambert, Kovacs, Eric Clapton Author: Ekkehard Boldt Hamburg, 04.24.2015, 09:28 clock Hamburg [ENA] From the variety of publications, I have found to date 3 issues that are worth to be played and heard. Subjectively, of course, and in all art, as a work of art, one seen through the eyes of a temperament piece creation. Adam Lambert in 2009 occupied the excellent with multi-platinum singer / songwriter / performer Adam Lambert ranked # 2 of US talent show "American Idol" and enthusiastic with his single "Whataya Want From Me" and his German fans. The song peakte in the charts at # 5 and the airplay charts at # 1. Earlier this year, Adam Lambert signed with Warner Music and immediately published in this week's new single "Ghost Town" from his on 12/06. appearing, the third studio album "Original High". Here is the official lyric video for "Ghost Town". The official video directed by Hype Williams (including Beyoncé, Kanye West, Coldplay) celebrates at 28.04. Premiere. For the production of "Original High" Adam stood the Swedish hitmaker Max Martin & Shellback (including Taylor Swift, Pink, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson) to the side that could place up to now over 19 US # 1 singles on the charts.
