Will they count or be disregarded? Up in the 540,000's this morning. Seems to be accelerating (at least to my hopeful eyes) I'm wondering about the same thing. To get the count up, do we need to close the link and then open it again? No It's automatic.. I sit here and watch the count.. I'm so addicted |

If you play it on repeat, only some of the plays are recorded by YouTube in the YouTube counter. It is a secret formula. But it is believed that whatever ends up on the counter is what goes to Billboard You have to play the whole song for it to count. In any case, it is slightly accelerating.  Is that true for spotify as well? Yes as far as I know it counts |

Adam proudly presents the follow-up of his second solo-album "Trespassing", that made history! It was the first album of a gay artist that got to number 1 in the US Billboard Charts. The follow-up, the third album of Lambert, will be named "The Original High" and it will be released on June 12th. For this album the singer teamed up with no less a figure than star-producer Max Martin, who already worked for Katy Perry, Maroon 5 and Pink before. Besides there are two impressive features on Adam's third album: The Swedish "Stay High"-singer Tove Lo sings "Rumors" together with Adam and the exceptionally gifted Queen-guitarist Brian May plays his instrument on "Lucy". You can already get a first impression of the coming album when you listen to the first single "Ghost Town", that was released on the 22nd of April. Should hit 600,000+ later today if this keeps up and more if stations keep playing it I know nothing about lyric videos released before the MV. Is this number reasonable, low, high? |

IMHO,worth the effort no matter what. I'm doing both..what the heck  I remember during the TP MV's era Q3 advised to view YT only about once every hour, at that time we though the YT algorithm disregarded prolonged repeated plays and counted only if more than half a video was played. IDK how they count in 2015. For those who want and can stream on more than one service - try RDIO. It has only 2990 plays of GT  and is included in 102 playlists...so it needs help there.
