YouTube is doing pretty well -- when will it hit 1 million -- looks like early Monday morning. In the past 12 hours 12:34AM: 663,379 12:24PM: 740,767 -- that was 77,398 in 12 hours. 250,233 to hit the 1 million mark, 36 hours to go, needs 6,945 per hour, 83,333 for 12 hours. It seems to be speeding up again. 01:05 PM: 748,097 (converted the time to your's). It's Saturday now so maybe some more will be streaming. People should have more time today and tomorrow probably. If they work during the weeks at least.

I suppose that everyone has noticed but just not mentioned that in the Ghost Town image overlay, Adam's mouth is over Adam's neck right where a vampire would bite. Adam is turning himself into a vampire. LOL. I really love the shot and continue to study it, teasing out little details; like, vampire Adam is wearing a high-collared jacket and I wonder if it is the one from Mad World finale because we know he recycles. Thank you for pointing this out. I at least didn't notice this yet. It's beautifully done and really shows the darkness of the song as well. It's a bit of light and dark Adam all over again. I have to change my mindset somewhat with Adam I realize now. He doesn't do anything just for the fun of it. It all has a meaning. Just like the story about dis-effected which was posted earlier. The deeper meaning of it all is so beautiful. Actually, I think at the essence, it is fun to him, or at least he is trying to have fun, but you are sure right that there is lots of deep stuff too, always underneath it, sometimes even quite directly so. He is inherently playful, and this is a way for him to deal with a lot of thoughts, sometimes dark, that are on his mind. Let them out and give them purpose in a creative way. Adam seems very protective of this inner child-me, because his creative spirit obviously resides there, but my take is, that he feels like the world, as it presents itself, is trying to chip away from it, and I can feel that quite strongly in Ghost Town, actually. And I can relate to that too. I think many of us feel that as we make more and more experiences as an adult, that the child in us is slipping more and more away. But as an artist, and a very sanguine person, he probably is more aware of that than many of us are. For me, Adam has something quite Andy Warhol-ish about him. He is playing with the elements he hears in the music around him, and uses them in new ways, but especially puts them together in ways that give them new purpose and meaning. And Adam loves using symbolism to express certain thoughts, making it important to look at what he does quite carefully, because it is easy to miss tons of stuff, if you look too superficially, be it visually, sonically and lyrically. So right now, as he knows, we are paying attention, he gives us all these hints about the music video and lets us play with these ideas. Obviously, only to surprise us ten times over, when we find out how he really puts those pieces together and what he is trying to say. But I do think that, at the center of it, Adam is trying to have fun in the work he is doing, and he certainly wants us to be entertained, not to take things too seriously. And I have to say that Adam's art, his performances, and what he shares about his life with the public have been endlessly interesting and entertaining for so many years, it is just amazing to follow him, as a fan, and I am grateful for the experience. And now, I will need to go back and study this picture collage a bit more that was just posted. Did not realize, we had quite so many hints already. This looks like an incredible music video, I am really looking forward to it.

I haven't actually watched it yet but not surprisingly YouTube keeps showing me Madonna's Ghosttown on the right side of the page. Out of interest I did a percentage calculation of the number of likes/dislikes that I wanted to share. Adam currently has 16553 likes and 310 dislikes = 1.87% Madonna has 70679 likes and 3355 dislikes = 4.74% or 2.5 times more dislikes than Adam. Pretty impressive, I thought. As a comparison, Sam Smith's Stay With Me has 1410451 likes and 48361 dislikes which is 3.42%. Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud has 2319896 likes and 61050 dislikes which is 2.63% I haven't done the maths for the Warner Brothers YouTube hits on Ghost Town but all the other comparisons were from the artists's own YouTube so it's like comparing apples with apples. So yet another sign of a huge hit, I do believe! I've returned to edit my post with an even more exciting statistic (I know, I'm a nerd!) As a percentage of likes to total views... 1.49% of Madonna's viewers bothered to hit the like button 0.43% of Sam Smith's 0.53% of Ed Sheeran and drum roll.... 2.30% of Adam's!! That is absolutely mega! Go Adam!!! These numbers are really a factor of how new Adam's video is. The ratio of Likes to Dislikes can be a good thing: Setting aside something with tons of dislikes, there is usually a really high percentage of likes for Adam videos because his videos are watched almost entirely by Adam fans. Similar to what happens on Twitter -- a very large group of fans with many, many connection. Once it spreads beyond Adam fans (radio airplay will do this), the percentage of dislikes should go up a bit -- just a slight be. YouTube videos tend to be watched by people who like the artist and know the song. It is a broad sharing and on-demand streaming platform. Adam's video is new. You can only rate a video one time per YouTube account. So the Likes to view ratio will drop over time. Sam Smith, "Stay With Me", Published on Mar 27, 2014 It is now at the point where there are almost no new viewers or people who want to rate it. You have to be logged into YouTube and not have rated it. It has 323,139,940 views. Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud [Official Video] , Published on Oct 7, 2014 It is a massive video with 433,996,238. 2.3 million likes. Madonna "Ghosttown", Published on Apr 8, 2015. This video has <5 million views, so there are lot of people left to rate it.

I think it's great if it hits 1 million a week after its release and also just before the MV. That's a nice milestone. Sooner is good but I am happy with how this whole thing is unfolding. It is a UNIVERSE apart from "last time". And my PTSD is really calming down.

There is a short article about Adam/TOH/GT in the teletext of our German TV-station RTL today! I made a screenshot of it! Here is my loose translation of the article! New album of Adam Lambert in June Recently Adam Lambert became a talking point mostly as the singer for Queen. But the 33-year-old is more than only a good replacement for Freddie Mercury. Now he is back as a solo-artist. On the 12th of June the singer launches his third album, "The Original High". The beat-oriented drama "Ghost Town", that was recently released on Lambert's facebook page, is already a little foretaste.
