Not sure they'll show Madonna's...might show a short clip.....sounds like maybe they asked Adam about the 2 Ghost Towns in the interview. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Hope they only show Adam's video...geez |

He should have over 500k on Spotify already. The figure has been 445,000 for about 2 days now. Someone said something about 500k being some boundary for the song getting on a global list. Maybe that's preventing from updating the figure. I did notice that this morning Ghost Town was listed in his most played songs at the top of the song list. Could be some things are set in motion behind the scenes. No idea how Spotify does this. More streaming is always good though since it will count for the charts and also gives him some revenue. Spotify updates are very infrequent -- but the streams will still be counted. Spotify has updated: 629,591 views! |

I wanted to pop on to say that I have to admit, GT is growing on me a bit. Still wish the song was more like the verses and less about the disco cowboy moments  BUT I find myself playing it a bit more. I definitely think the sound/production is miles ahead of Trespassing....I have a feeling I'll still like FYE more given the nature of the nature of material....but it's definitely enjoyable But then it would just be a different song! And I have discovered........ (because I live in a world where I thought 'deep house' trend referred to the current high-profile epdemic of London basement renovations.) that your 'disco cowboy' moments are very Radio 1 here - and those are the bits that will get him played on Radio 1, if there is any hope at all. Nationalglampoon shamed me into listening to Radio 1 for the first time in 20 years.....only for Adam! But now I know why this song stands a chance - love it or hate it! |

I really like the "disco cowboy" moments, but it's actually the verses that are sticking most in my head. That, no doubt, is because of Adam's voice. And the more I listen to GT, the more I realize how difficult it would be for most people to sing it with the subtle variations in the melody. It sounds simple at first listen, but I think that's deceiving. And of course, no one can match Adam's tone. Like you, I like FYE overall better than Trespassing (although there are some tracks on Trespassing that I love). Of course, that's a matter of personal musical tastes. |
