Hey, has anybody checked this site out before? acharts.us/performer/adam_lambertIf you click on the individual song titles or album titles you get summaries of charts from around the world with peak positions and weeks on. The main page is confusing though because the weeks on chart is the total for all the charts the song or album was on and the peak is the highest across all the charts it appeared on but it could be worth checking against info we have. Can one of you numbers gurus check it out? |

When you get a chance see if you think it is accurate because if it seems to be then there is info there on some countries that I don't think we've gotten info on before, like France. |

Slightly OT, but I've been keeping an eye on DC's first single and it is not doing too well. I don't go to DCO, so haven't seen #s but I do know Brian doesn't have them, which means they aren't on the Hot 100. The 1st week sales were 22K and the album pre-sales apparently aren't doing well. Things are starting to look kinda grim, especially since Archie's new album tanked. The sales for all the new idol albums will be very interesting in the coming months. Who do we have coming up: David, Kelly, Kris, CaseyJ, Danny and Adam as well as the AI10 idols. Does seem like too many idol albums this Fall. Could be brutal!
ETA: Apparently Daughty also has an album coming out this year.

Looking pretty grim for upcoming Idol albums stardust. Thank god Adam's isn't an "Idol Album". I have realized that, again! Funny you posted this because I actually woke up with this thought. I was thinking about his videos and pics from the red carpet, his Moscow Show, his Quebec show coming up. Then my brain backtracked to the Grammy nom. I thought about how he is in the celeb news at least once a week for a tweet or a new hairstyle or walking to his car! :D I thought about his E! THS and the VH1 BTM specials. I thought about him saying he has written 18-20 songs, so far. I turned on my computer and saw Sia's "Good morning" tweet to Adam.  And it made me realize, Adam is sooooooooo out of the Idol bubble! Yes, he will always be grateful to Idol and without Idol we would not know about him. But when he goes on Idol or any other TV show, now it is as a guest STAR, not as an ex-Idol. Can not wait for Album #2!!! It is going to be amazing! |
