Whew! Just when I was really having doubts about GT's success, I see this morning that it IS moving up! That is such great news! Yes, we can thank the radio stations for the spins, but it's important to let them know that we really like the song! Gotta keep the momentum high till TOH. I can't wait to hear what the second single will be like. Probably a whole different vibe from GT. I've been viewing the official GT video as much as I can. Thanks for all the great info this morning. It usually takes about 4 weeks, for a non-Swift, Katy Perry, Rihanna song to do what Ghost town has done in 2. So this is not slow at all! "Ghost Town" is moving up shockingly fast.

Thanks for all the birthday greetings. I almost had forgotten what day it was; I guess when you've celebrated as many as I have, it's more important to just wake up in the morning.
Betty, I love fresh fruit so the cakes today are particularly appetizing!
Loving Ghost Town. And not too old to feel a little thrill as it climbs the charts. Can't wait for my dil to tell me she's heard it once too often on her commute to work (she said that once about WWFM).

requestadamlambert.com/fan-guide-tips/ Great tips on how to move Ghost Town... streaming matters most important according to this is to not nag radio stations ,just enjoy the music... This is one tough business....takes real courage and determination to be a pop star... Can someone please help me find my life... It's all Adam 24/7 ... Ok I'll start with a morning shower...LOL I strongly recommend relaxing a bit about "Ghost Town". It will be moving up the radio airplay charts for several weeks. The radio impact date was April 28th --- not even a week ago. "Ghost Town" is moving up faster than any other song on the Top 40 -- so fast that this report is out of date. HAC -- GT is now up to #39 with 34 stations playing it, and many of the spins happening during drive time (the best time slot for radio). On Top 40, a much tougher radio format for Adam, the progress is even more impressive. Right now "Ghost Town" is the #1 song on Mediabase's Taking Off chart with 18 new stations just starting to play it. >> This song is moving up very rapidly. VERY RAPIDLY. >> Hopefully, "Ghost Town" will move steadily up the chart. It is likely to move more slowly and take weeks to get to peak. >> Fans can only effect radio a very small bit. This is really up to listeners. With very few exceptions radio stations are NOT programmed based on requests. The biggest exceptions are song battles mostly with online voting. >> Fans can effect the streaming component of the Billboard Hot 100 and the Billboard Streaming Media charts. Finally, just a reminder about radio requests. Request locally (stations you can hear from your home). DO NOT REQUEST FROM A STATION YOU DO NOT LISTEN TO. DO NOT REQUEST FROM A STATION THAT IS NOT LOCAL TO YOU. *** We are going to have a couple good days of radio stations adding "Ghost Town". This is so much fun to watch.

Most fans don't follow the path of other artists. But the media covers people like Katy andSwift. So, it would seem that 2-3 weeks to the top is the norm. Not so! Q3 is right! This is moving up so well, I am surprised and overjoyed! Tomorrow's adds potentially could be higher than last week!

Thanks Q3 for the info on how "Ghost Town" is moving on the charts. I am so happy for him! I know it's premature but if this continues, I can see Grammy nods in the near future.

Thanks Q3 for the info on how "Ghost Town" is moving on the charts. I am so happy for him! I know it's premature but I can see Grammy nods in the near future. The Grammys are a popularity contest. If he gets some nominations, great. But they are very, very difficult for a pop artist to get. It is a lot easier for artists in every other genre to rack up nominations. Pop music usually needs to sell a lot to get nominated. I have high expectations for the album but I will wait until I hear it before I make any Grammy bets. BUT I hope he can score an album nomination.
