ACK!!! X003 is Sirius FM!!! Satellite radio added Ghost Town!!!  News to me anyway..  Stardust..SNAP! So for the radio ditz like me, does this mean Ghost Town will go syndicated across the Sirius network or is this just one Sirius station? I'm trying, guise. Bear with me. Sirius has a bunch of distinctly different stations but they are all (?) syndicated across their network. So maybe a couple stations will play it and some won't. |

Yes, one and the same. Top40 = CHR = POP I just think that nobody remembers what CHR stands for so the other two are easier to use. CHR = Contemporary Hits Radio HAC= Hot Adult Contemporary AC= Adult Contemporary |

I figured POP (on KWORB) = CHR, but TOP40 got me confused... now, the Sirius question viv asked is interesting...How many kinds of stations do they have? Are they monitored? Is their AI huge or unknown? |

On the topic of station ownership and behaviour, I remember past problems with the Cumulus (sp?) group - they used to add/play very much as a block and often late in a song's lifecycle. I think a couple of times they just ignored Adam's song entirely. Does the group still exist as such? Have any of their stations added yet?

Thanks rihannsu! So there are 185 monitored stations for the CHR panel and Adam already has 60 Adds! Lots more left for next week!!! Go Adam!!! |
