What I see is most of the new spinners all seem to have the majority of the spins at ON
is this the way they start out? Then eventually spin at prime hrs? But how will the song catch on if it's night spins????
man, this is a double edge sword.
Ok. Where are the spins for q102 philly????

Everything doesn't show up on "starters" there is a gap they fall into. I don't know how it works, but it happens. Q102 is spinning 2-4 times a day. |

Guys there are 127 CHR stations spinning the song. They aren't all going to show up in the report detail. Leaders is only the top spinning stations and starters are only those that have just started spinning in the current week. Philly isn't in the Leaders list because it is just under the lowest leaders showing. Today the lowest spinner in the Leaders list was 18. Here is what Philly is spinning:
31 34 ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town 16 16 0.2343
Most stations will start with overnight spins then transition in to other time slots as the get feedback or as songs rise on the charts. I don't understand why there is so much angsting going on when he is having the BEST radio reception of his entire career. I understand if people don't know what's up but just because you don't know or understand doesn't mean there is anything to worry about. Believe me we will tell you if there is cause for worry.

More chart analysis. Sorry, but I love analyzing numbers. Above GT, 12 songs have negative spins! 22 songs have a negative bullet!  I love it too! And love understanding it better. My new addiction. I saw the same thing though not in as much detail and got very excited. Though there are a lot of songs moving up above GT, I see room opening up that seemed more suck a week or so ago - kind of like a longer jam breaking. I see less room in HAC. I am a happy camper looking forward to the published reports this week. |

Not much should change with the published report which should be coming out anytime tonight now, as the only thing that can change at this time is position if a song above GT goes recurrent or gets purged. But next week does look really promising as that log jam starts loosening at least in the top 30 positions. I also wanted to note that this week is a really good example of the Ups and Downs inherent in following the daily charts. Last weekend was Saturday 0 spins Sunday -1 spins Monday - 12 spins This week Saturday +40 spins Sunday +79 spins Monday +? (could be pretty high with the Sunday Carsen Daily spins or it could be a wash if the +79 spins were one timers) Anyway this is just to show how the sky was falling last weekend for daily numbers. But week to week numbers have remained Awesome! |

I live in the Philly burbs and I'm on the Q102 rating panel. I'm doing my part by giving GT the highest rating "LOVE IT" and also selecting "MORE SPINS". If only they would listen to me!!!  |
