Forgive me for this post since it's kind of in the wrong place, but I really wanted to mention this. I was lucky enough to go to 4 of the Queen & AL concerts, Philly, Atlantic City, Madison Sq. Garden, & Merriweather Post (MD). The one thing I loved was at the end people just stood there, not able to move, it was like people just couldn't believe what they had heard. I've been to some concerts, not that many, but enough, we went to Katy Perry a few months earlier & people were leaving before the last song. No one left early for Q&AL, but not only did they not leave early, they took a few minutes to leave or even move for that matter, even 5 min's after they all walked off the stage. I've never seen that before ever. People were truly astounded by what they heard & almost in a shock & awe kind of a thing. It was very cool to see. It was at every place as well, I think people also didn't want to believe it was over either. I just wanted to add that, it was my observation, not sure if other people noticed that as well. alisgr8, it was the same at the two concerts I attended, in Winnipeg and Toronto -- a feeling of collective amazement and euphoria, and people just wanting to stay where they were and bask in the moment. I've been at some concerts where there's been a mini-stampede for the doors during the encore, but it was just the opposite for QAL. No one wanted to move and break the spell.

GMA concert series is free & open to the public correct?? Anyone go right after Idol when he was on, how does it work? How do you get tickets, do they limit it to only a certain amount of people? My husband & I are going to try to go not sure how it works though. Here is a start gma.yahoo.com/good-morning-america-s-2015-summer-concert-series-164044098.htmlwww.centralpark.com/guide/activities/concerts/gma-concerts.htmlThe 2015 Summer Concert Series returns for the seventh year to Rumsey Playfield in Central Park, home of the SummerStage, where music’s biggest names will perform live every Friday. All concerts are free to the public and will take place live during “Good Morning America,” Fridays from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m. ET. Information on how to attend a summer concert in Central Park can be found with the full line-up on gmaconcerts.com.THe official guidelines are:" Viewers interested in joining "GMA" in Central Park are encouraged to arrive at Rumsey Playfield via the 72nd street entrance on Fifth Avenue at 6:00am when the park opens to the public."
From my experience back in the summer of 2009: - the line-up started at the 72st & 5th ave entrance at some crazy time of 10 pm the evening before (I've asked people in front) - I got there at around 3 am and there were several hundred people ahead of me - Once the park opened they let the line enter the park in a very organized manner, so that no one ran, lots of security people directing the line movement - Inside: There is a large open space in front of the stage and rafters way back. THis is where it became a bit crazy as people tried to get a "closer" spot. -there is no limit on how many people in your party, as there is no "party" per say Now keep in mind this was the post idol craze of 2009 AND Kris Allen and David Cook were part of the concert. There was a huge amount of DC's groupies, as well as some KA fans. I am not sure this time will be anywhere close to the madness and fever of that summer. But hey, may be it will ...

I hope it is a smash, wish I was closer. Adam needs many younger fans at this concert. I hope older fans bring along their kids, nieces and nephews, whoever, to make it an all ages send off for era 3!

I just got on the computer, listened to Underground four times. I am covered in goose bumps, practically melting into my chair. I love this song. The melody is so smooth and his voice is just oozy.
