AndyCohensFanPage @loveandyc 11m11 minutes ago #WWHL @snoopdogg @williegeist @brooklyndecker @adamlambert @chrisbharrison @dorindamedley @msvivicafox @aliewentworth Google tells me Brooklyn Decker is a model, and someone here said she's an actress as well. I don't know what she's plugging, if at all. Does anyone know? The only thing I could find is that she's pregnant, so I guess at some point of the show Adam will be asked if he wants to have children... I just happened to watch the netflix show "Grace and Frankie"-- the Jane Fonda/Lily Tomlin vehicle. Brooklyn plays the younger daughter of Jane Fonda's character. (Highly reccommend--Sam Waterson and Martin Sheen as well). So she'll probably talk about working with these stars. She is terribly thin-- whatever is less than size zero. eta: sorry, taumbu, didn't see you already answered.

Brooklyn Decker is a Sports Illustrated model and she also plays Jane Fonda's daughter in the Netflix show Grace and Frankie. It's a new show so I'm sure she'll be plugging that. I see, thank you. I didn't know Jane Fonda was in a show, that's great!

Chart mavins: does anyone know what that Carson Daily show spin is worth on MB Top40? I think about 80 spins. That was my guess. About 65% Top 40 monitored from the 79 listed stations. I can't find an accurate list of all stations, so no way to even count it. *** I wish Carson Daily did the bookings for The Voice! I so much want our Adam on the final!

I think it was posted earlier, or I saw it on twitter, worth 110 spins. 110 is the total number of stations that broadcast the program. Some are HAC, some are Top 40, some of both are not monitored stations. So heard on 110 stations but how many are on the Mediabase Top 40 station panel?

I hadn't noticed that in particular, tho' I had noticed the more rapid vibrato on the line. Your theory of shivering is a good possible reason for it. Can one add vibrato to a sung consonant? Actually, the question is, can one SING a consonant, as in producing a sustained pitch or tone. Yes, for the three nasal consonants, N, M and NG. To produce a note/tone, your vocal cords need to vibrate. To vibrate, they need to have air passing thru them. You can do that for N, M and NG. After all, humming is just vocalizing to an MMMM sound. (Any speech therapists online, yes I know that voiced fricatives Z, ZH, V and TH can also produce a note or tone, but because the oral cavity is constricted, the tone is not full sounding. I have never heard a singer sustain a ZZZZ, for example) There is a very thoughtfully sung, arranged and produced song. I think Shellback did the instrumental arrangement/production on this one based on the the style. I love how this song transitioned from his mostly unmodifed voice on verse 1 to increasing levels of processing as the song progresses. Then retreats and cycles again Are you saying that his voice has been modified electronically as the song progresses? I'm having a hard time hearing it.. his voice that's front and center in the song sounds like him to me unaltered..

One morning on the way to work I listened to radio, there's a ballad song a bit whiny, the more I listened to it the whinier it was and I realized it's Sam Smith with his new song.. Ugh I turned off the radio right away. The same thing when I heard Maroon5 songs now. I cannot stand that guy voice now and these two guys songs charted higher than GT.
Just my 2c about Adam and Nate. I like some of his songs and he probably a good songwriter. But as people said so many times, beauty is the eyes of beholder, or it's just very subjective. So does someone preference of music and singers and arts. We love Adam, and some people love Nate. It's preference. I can never understand why people like Kris Allen better than Adam. The same thing why some people like Nate better than Adam. Though I can listen or stand listening to Nate's voice better than Kris's . So I'm not going to get annoyed because some music critic like the other guy better than Adam. Vocally the whole world knows Adam's way up over Nate, but for some people it doesn't really matter whether they cannot sing like Adam. Case on point, all those songs above GT in Top40. I think "Ghost Town" will move up to a higher peak on Top 40 than Nate Reuss lead single. We'll see. My only interest in Nate Reuss is that I do not want his album to outsell Adam's. Beyond that I wish his the best. Regarding Sam Smith and Maroon 5 -- Sam is on his 5th single from ITLH which is still on the Billboard 200 at #8! one year after release. Maroon 5 is on their 4th single from V which is also still on the Billboard 200 at #15 9 months after it was released. When artists get to the 4th and 5th singles from an album, they are usually weak. But I would be thrilled if Adam can be half as successful as either artist. If an artist's last single and/or multiple recent singles was/were a CHR hit, their next release will get a lot of airplay and move quickly. Just how it works. Adam is not comparable to either Sam or Maroon 5 YET!
