I've checked the corners, and I don't see Q3, so I'm wandering off topic again ( shh! don't talk too loud so she doesn't notice). I've only been watching The Voice for about 30 minutes, and I've already heard several people better than anything I'm hearing on the radio at the moment. Ahem...  I am not watching The Voice, and just catching up on today. Loved Adam calling out GQ. As some have said, I have no prob whatsoever with them not liking his outfit. They are about style, they can critique style. But the gratuitous "gay" thrown in there was lame and unevolved. The use of the word "gay" as an insult is pretty damn juvenile and unworthy of a mainstream publication. So they got a dose of Adam snark. Good. That's the kind of #Realness I appreciate. And on the other side of the realness spectrum, the blog from the young gay athlete was beautiful and inspiring. One person at a time is how change happens. The ripples from a tiny pebble... I love that Aftermath is that song for some people. I know the lyrics were a big eyeroll for some, but sometimes all it takes is a simple message sung with sincerity by an open-hearted person, and lives are changed. Who am I to question that? |

Thanks NoAngel! I think that I will set up a separate thread for The Voice so we can discuss it here without clogging up the Adam Lambert news.  I will set it up tomorrow. (Need to do a bit of rearranging first.) |

Oops! Busted! Just when you think the coast is clear... Man! Both NoAngel and Q3 caught me. It's like when I was 8 and my parents could always hear me talking to my sisters when I was supposed to be asleep. Apparently my voice still carries. |

Hi, everybody, newbie here! I've been an Adam fan since June or July 2009. I'm so glad I found this site, it's so entertaining and you are all wonderful people. Excuse my occasional misspellings, another fan with English as a second language. Re: GQ tweets, I wonder why they singled him out from that list of five “worst dressed” and tweeted to him that childish thingy. It’s like the person running the account is a 5-year-old!!! Another newbie, and from Dominican Republic, too!!  Carmen Leda, so glad you joined us!     |
