On HAC he's actually had almost 3 full weeks of fairly big spin increases so I wouldn't be surprised at the song having a plateau week here. The AT40 spins probably offset the Carson Daly spins from last week. All Access hasn't been giving me Leaders in HAC for a couple of days but the last one I got did show some of the leaders backing off a little. This is normal so no cause for concern but that is probably why the update was small. He may pick up a position or two this week from songs dropping but there's a bit of a spin gap between the next songs up so this chart is going to move slowly. The AT40 shows run Saturday or Sunday depending on the stations and I don't know if there is a list of how many on each day or each format. As for CHR yes next week has more possibilities for songs above him leaving the chart and of course always hoping for big spin increases. I don't think we have any mega artist songs impacting in the next week or 2 and there are quite a few nose diving so hopefully there will be more chance of stations increasing now that we are settling in with the summer songs for the most part. Thanks. I am wondering though isn't Sam Smith having a song debut? It keep showing up when you log into Mediabase and I believe it had adds last week. I agree on HAC snail pace. It has songs moving up that are already moving down on Top 40 so it may be awhile. But it also seems more durable once they enter the higher echelons of the chart. The Sam Smith song is not going to be going gangbusters I think. Maybe they aren't going to be pushing it much. Spincrease SAM SMITH Like I Can 174 46 Only 46 stations spinning it and leaders and starters are moderate spin ranges. We aren't getting the below 50 reports right now so no idea where it is but unless they push it suddenly it probably won't be a factor for the next couple of weeks at least. |

So here is where I am confused. The AT140 breakout add was on HAC not Top 40 (though I know SNOL was the contributor to the #38 ranking today on Top40) but the HAC spins were anemic on the report this morning (+7). Does this mean that they were not counted yet? Also, looking at the Top40 rolling, I am wondering where the next move up comes from. Patti mentioned no recurrents this week above Adam and the songs above him that are dropping down still have higher spins (if I understand this right). So we are hoping for big spin increases this week and recurrent/purges next week? When I was checking the HAC AT 40stations, it appears a large amount do the show Sunday. Tomorrow will probably show a big increase. Also, the HAC chart moves VERY slowly! You could fall asleep watching that chart! LOL!! I already have fallen asleep watching that chart! Good news about Sunday shows. So even with the snail's pace, maybe there will be a move back inside the top 30. |

Giving a hard stare to that HAC chart and I see there is a song right above Adam (Natalie La Rose - Somebody) with just a few more spins and dropping. If there is SOME increase today, he could move back to 29. There is one above that which looks vulnerable but maybe not this week.

There are enough negatives on both charts, IMO, to not worry about GT at all. Nothing is nipping at its heels either. With the songs dropping, I could easily see a 5 spot increase this week on CHR! By next Sunday's official!  |

Giving a hard stare to that HAC chart and I see there is a song right above Adam (Natalie La Rose - Somebody) with just a few more spins and dropping. If there is SOME increase today, he could move back to 29. There is one above that which looks vulnerable but maybe not this week. The spin count will not change for the official chart today. The only way he would move to 29 on HAC is if a song goes recurrent and gets taken off the chart when it's published this afternoon. |

The audience impression numbers are great. Remember the ones in the list below POP and HAC are just daily changes, they fluctuate all the time going negative as well as positive. The actual audience he's reaching is the end number of the top lines. ie 6.213 for Top40 and 3.687 for HAC. These are great and compare very well to other songs near him on the charts and they continue to increase for him every week just as they should. |

I have another question. When a song has an add doesn't that mean they have added it to their playlist? Z100 has GT on their playlist. Does this mean they did add it? Before my local station added GT they played it as much as they do now but it never showed up on the playlist. Once they added it, it was there. Wouldn't that be the same for Z100?
