POP; 41 41 ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town 1323 1096 227 5.910 -3 Spins -30 Bullet -0.047 Audience HOT AC: 32 29 ADAM LAMBERT Ghost Town 870 632 238 3.750 +23 Spins -3 Bullet +0.034 Audience Sure am hoping there won't be pearl clutching on this. There are bound to be "correction" days when there has been a hefty spin increase and when they coincide with some fast moving songs by established stars. There is still room on the up escalator with other songs dropping spins and today is a good day with the Z-100 interview.

No worries at all. The entire chart has many songs with small, to none, to minus increases. You know why?? Because there are only so many hours in a day, if Swift & M5's deals have those being spun 2 times an hour, other songs suffer. Actually, everything we've been expecting for the past week has happened including Major Lazer passing. TBH, I expected it to pass sooner. GT should be #39 on Sunday. If not, it will definitely hold onto #40. After that, the upper end of the chart and recurrents will be fun to watch over the next 3 weeks.

What is your gut telling you?

The little drop was fully expected given the two national treasures (TS and Maroon) skyrocketing...
If I am concerned about anything at all at this point it would be the lack of Twitter growth. I don't understand it at all frankly.

The stations are playing the new releases by the big three (M5, TS, ES) lots of times so they don't have as much room for GT. Let's all keep requesting at the various sites that allow: instant write-in requests, 5 at 5, 9 at 9, 7 at 7, etc. and keep streaming GT at Spotify (I let it stream all day).

I don't understand it at all frankly. My concern is lack of growth in sales at iTunes USA. If only folks could hear it on the radio, they would buy it and the radio won't increase spins because iTunes sales are not high. It's a Catch 22!!!

According to the prevailing wisdom the sales should show an increase once we get over the 10 Mil mark on CHR. So, I am not worried yet, as I think the radio is doing fine so far.

Ghost Town is at #58 on iTunes Pop USA right now. I think that's better than it's been doing for awhile. Does anyone know for sure if that's an increase in sales? musicchartfeeds.com/itunes-pop-charts/

This was a discussion yesterday.
