Less shade than when Adam first sang it in Biloxi I wondered then whether something went down between the two of them... But I thought there weren't any credits for singers on the album. Why is this an issue? Because Avicii is the ONLY DJ that does that! Zedd, Calvin Harris, Guetta, all give their vocalists a "feature" in the credits. To this day, I suspect this is why Avicii did not get a "best single" nomination for the Grammys. Because Wake Me Up was HUGE!

Patti I meant spins that are considered prime time 6 - 10 AM and 3 -7 pm have a larger AI so that what I was trying to gauge how spins are counted Prime Time is a TV term. In radio there are two dayparts that matter -- drive time. When people are in their cars commuting. Morning drive time is the most important. If your "friend" used the term "prime time" in relation to radio -- she does not know much. ** Adam is doing great. Nothing bad can happen. His album will certainly do well. His music is getting streamed all over the world. He is currently the #117 selling artist on iTunes in the world -- and he is just beginning to promote his new music. "Ghost Town" made AT40. So it is now officially a Top 40 hit -- and it <4 weeks since the radio impact date. He apparently is working on something for TV and/or movies. He will be fronting Queen at RIR. How any fan can be anything but joyous is beyond me.

Less shade than when Adam first sang it in Biloxi I wondered then whether something went down between the two of them... But I thought there weren't any credits for singers on the album. Why is this an issue? Because our dear, sweet, humble Adam has a healthy ego and takes great pride in his work. He likes to be the focus of attention when performing. He wants to be a superstar. He works very hard at it, and wants the recognition. He likes to collaborate with others, he likes to be part of a tribe, but he also wants to be front and center, not the chorus boy in the green hat at the back. We love how down to earth, genuine, and modest Adam is in conversations and interviews. And that is true. But, if anyone believes he has no ego or need to be the center of attention when performing, you probably haven't been around a lot of passionate solo performers. BTW, it is also possibly a reason Adam jokes about being difficult to deal with in a relationship. Like many artists, I imagine that his work, his art, his career, and his goals are his top priorities. In an interview a couple of years ago, Adam admitted that, and said his friends understood because they were the same. I know a number of folks like that. They are not narcissistic or egotistical, in the traditional sense. They are kind, caring, loving people. Their focus is just on their art, sometimes, (or more than some times), to the exclusion of other events and relationships around them. That is what it takes to succeed in the business.

Hey, I'm sorry if this has been asked/answered before already, but does anyone know when we'll get the two songs download links if we pre-ordered the album from his website? Underground came the day after so I was thinking they'd come today but they haven't yet.

First Listen: Adam Lambert – ‘The Original High’ www.popologynow.com/2015/05/21/first-listen-adam-lambert-the-original-high/by Richard Baxter · May 21, 2015 In case you’ve been living under a rock, Adam Lambert will officially return with ‘The Original High’ on June 16th. His new single, ‘Ghost Town’, is just getting its start on Top 40 radio and we’ve already gotten the promo track ‘Underground’ to hold us over until the album’s release. What if we told you that we could give you a little taste of what the title track from the album sounds like? Adam previewed a number of songs at an exclusive NYC showcase and ‘The Original High’ happened to be one of them. Thanks to a TwitVid (which we have since removed), the chorus of the title track has Adam giving full falsetto on top of a funk-driven 80’s guitar beat as Adam longs for the past and craves that “first time” experience: Gotta feel the touch like the first time/Wanna breathe it out cause I’m going out my mind/Gotta feel the touch like the first time/This time, chasing the original high Now Glamberts, your minds may wander to the title track of ‘Trespassing’ given the funk-pop sound it has as well, but rest assured that Adam isn’t recycling the same song again. Think more Prince-esque vibes than anything else! So what do we think? Does it sound like a hit from what we gave you?
