Richard Baxter @richbaxter I have to say, @adamlambert has a fantastic fan base. #Glamberts are always a pleasure to interact with online (unlike other fan bases)! This new music is a feast. Like Mahler for the first time. Or Stravisnsky when you grow up. Or vice versa. What am I trying to say?? It's a sound we've heard; but it's new music; new musicality; a daring, fly in your face abstract of beat and conscience. I swear, I feel Andy Warhol in my throat. The colors and strange mix just coat my insides. I've become a new painting. Never knew I had this color inside!

Hey, I'm sorry if this has been asked/answered before already, but does anyone know when we'll get the two songs download links if we pre-ordered the album from his website? Underground came the day after so I was thinking they'd come today but they haven't yet. I got a notice from iTunes today via email that the titles were available. I just opened the email and they downloaded automatically to my iPod (that's where I opened the email). Went to my music and there they were. (did that make sense?)

I've been listening to the 4 songs from TOH for about 4 hours now. I got a quick glimpse early this am for the 2nd 2, and had to go to work. I am sooooooooooooo totally enthralled with all of these songs. I really can't find the words to describe what I feel. Epic isn't BIG enough....nope, not at all. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE them all! I'm still chuckling at the *moo*/*fart* (per lilly), but I still LOVE it!!!!! LMAO!!
I'm a bit in my cups aka hammered right now. So, forgive me, but there is no way in hell that this isn't going to be the biggest pop hit album of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It just gets betterer and betterer.......and we have SOOOOOOOOOO much more to hear!! After tomorrow, I'll try to join in a bit more. Just a tough anniversary to deal with, and then I'm all about ADAM!!!!!!! I'm actually always all about Adam, but have to deal with some RL stuff....
Thanks to all that give & share all the goodies here. I always appreciate it, even if I'm not always too vocal. I do come here daily and I do care for you all, very deeply!
ATOP just ROCKS!!!!!!!!! (((HUGS))) !!!

Because our dear, sweet, humble Adam has a healthy ego and takes great pride in his work. He likes to be the focus of attention when performing. He wants to be a superstar. He works very hard at it, and wants the recognition. He likes to collaborate with others, he likes to be part of a tribe, but he also wants to be front and center, not the chorus boy in the green hat at the back. We love how down to earth, genuine, and modest Adam is in conversations and interviews. And that is true. But, if anyone believes he has no ego or need to be the center of attention when performing, you probably haven't been around a lot of passionate solo performers. BTW, it is also possibly a reason Adam jokes about being difficult to deal with in a relationship. Like many artists, I imagine that his work, his art, his career, and his goals are his top priorities. In an interview a couple of years ago, Adam admitted that, and said his friends understood because they were the same. I know a number of folks like that. They are not narcissistic or egotistical, in the traditional sense. They are kind, caring, loving people. Their focus is just on their art, sometimes, (or more than some times), to the exclusion of other events and relationships around them. That is what it takes to succeed in the business. Nicely said. I assume Adam and Nile knew their names would not be listed with the song on the cd. I wonder whether Avicii ever acknowledges them during a performance, in an interview, or any other public way. Adam generally thanks-acknowledges everyone that is part of a performance. Considering that he wrote and sang the song, I can imagine that he would consider it his due to be thanked in some way. AVICII has talked extensively about Adam and Nile and LMD. A Google search should give you a lot of news mentions from 2013. Kind of old news now. When AVICII is doing a show, he plays songs into songs for the most part -- it is continuous music -- not much talking. Same as other DJs do. *** I do not believe that there is anything between Adam and AVICII. I think Adam is proud of the vocal on LMD and would have liked it if it was better known -- to get credit for some of the things he did in 2013. AVICII said it was his favorite track on the album and there was an effort to make it a hit single -- did not work.

I love the official TOH playlist on Adam's YouTube channel. The playlist will play for 47 minutes and includes the GT MV & lyric videos, audio only videos for the other 3 released songs, the BTS video, the album trailer video, The Ellen Show video, 5 GT Remixes, and the 3 teasers. And since playing the GT MV too many times in a row disqualifies the plays for the YouTube counts, playing the playlist is a great way to increase the play counts on all of the videos. www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLuuNtD-xmhd30Z4qoVX1aSlzaQO2rac18I have been playing this since I got home from work and I have to save the remixes are growing on me and I want to get up and dance and then when the original GT comes back around I love it even more. Also these two new releases are fantastic.

(((HUGS))) !!! It could be one of the best pop albums of the year, but it will be hard for Adam to have the best selling pop album of the year. Mumford & Sons, Taylor Swift, Sam Smith, Kanye and a few other will be very hard to beat. And a number of artists have had somewhat disappointing sales numbers -- like Imagine Dragons new album. Their first album sold Night Visions has sold 2.5 million so far, the new album released Feb 2015 has sold about 200,000. The market is really, really competitive. Look at Kendrick Lamar's brilliant album, "To Pimp A Butterfly" The Metacritic score for this album is 96 with 44 reviews, all positive. Released March 16, 2015, #1 for two weeks in a row, total sales so far 566,180. This is for a hip hop album -- that may be the best hip hop album ever. *** I will be thrilled if TOH is #1 for the week, and if it sells > 250K total in the US. Unless there is a huge, demands to be a #1 hit song on TOH and I doubt that, 250K will be a real accomplishment. If I am way low, I will be very happy for Adam. Most important to me is I hope TOH gets great reviews, and that fans and new fans love the music, and that it sells enough that we get a US tour. ETA: I wrote 250K TOTAL in the US cumulative -- not just week 1.

But I thought there weren't any credits for singers on the album. Why is this an issue? It's true, he never credits the singers, but the fact is Adam said "he didn't put our little names in there" before he sang LMD for the first time, so IDK. Maybe it was an issue and maybe not. Avicii leaves the studio...Nile calls up Adam out of the blue ...kinda begs Adam to come in and help with a track he is working on as he is leaving the next day. Adam agrees...jumps on his treadmill to get the birthday party libations moving through his system. He goes in helps with lyrics, sings it once. BETCHA...the "DETAILS" of how Avicii sets up his contracts was not made apparent to Adam at the late night work session. But, Adam does at some point agree to roll with it ...to have it on the album. At least he gets a few royalties with a writing credit ...for album sales. Something versus nothing! If it flew as a single even better....if not at least Avicii fans may read credits on an album purchase. A pick up of new fans comes in many ways. I love LMD.
