The problem I have with this article and him, is that he is basically saying he wrote the song. Ya, he mentions co-wrote, but where in his story of the history of the song is the "co" in his version? He's been singing it "for a long time" in his live shows! He got the idea driving back from Vegas! Everything he says undercuts Adam's version of the story & Adam's interpretation! Sorry, but I have nothing but "sit down, sir" feelings towards this man. Fine, but did you ever consider that he might be telling the truth? ...and I don't see too much discrepancy with what Adam's said, they could've had the same feelings/ideas of the Hollywood scene, SF just had a song demo about it - quite possible IMO. I am sure he is telling the truth. Never said he wasn't!

Interesting read BUT NOT going to give him any hits on his video. For some reason have not appreciated his tweets and efforts to insert himself into Adam's roll out of GhostTown. Might be standard practice in music business but this is Adams roll out - not his. NoAngel @noangelpf Billboard - Sterling Fox Covers Adam Lambert's 'Ghost Town': Exclusive Video Premiere www.billboard.com/articles/news/6576142/sterling-fox-ghost-town-adam-lambert-cover-video-premiere … From Chunkey: if i had moo chunkeymonkey81 7m7 minutes ago Basically that bboard article about the cover is the writer of the song attention hoaring and basically saying Adam had no hand in this song Not overly thrilled with him either, but good grief is it really neccessary for every mommybert to spew their shit all over Billboard?. Some days I despise this fandom. Today is one of them.

Can we get back to flailing that we have at least one more Adam concert? Now there is a rumor that there is a second showcase planned for UK or EU. Where is this rumor?? And (more importantly for me), was it UK or EU??

Good to keep our eyes on the prize and not get involved with sideshows. Especially if it throws shade. Love what Q3 said a while back. Karma is karma. It is a perfect system. You throw shade - it comes back. Fine to discuss it here but I agree that spewing all over public sites is not productive and does not help Adam. He has one mommy and she is a good one. Never heard her say one thing negative in public. I loved her beautiful line when she was egged on after the AMA's of what she thought of it all and she said something like, "hey, it's rock and roll". Classy. It would be lovely if the fans stayed classy.

My feelings about this song-writer business: 1) I'm happy to give hits to anything related to Ghost Town. This seems like only a good thing to me. 2) If Mr. Fox co-wrote on Ghost Town, Another Lonely Night, and Evil in the Night, then it seems like he's a talented guy and I am grateful for his contributions to the album. 3) Putting together Adam's and SF's narratives about Ghost Town, it seems to me that a) lyrically the song was pretty close to done when SF submitted a demo to Adam & Co. b) Adam liked it enough to record it with a few lyrical tweaks (possibly adding the whistle, here, or maybe it was already there, or maybe added later). c) Adam, Max, & Co. listened to that version and thought the vocals were dope (natch), the lyrics were pretty good, but the song was boring. d) Adam said, brilliantly, "Hey, can we turn this into a kind of 90s deep house thing?" e) Ali P., or whoever it was, worked his magic and turned it into a pretty damn exciting single. That's a narrative I'm pretty comfortable with, y'all. 4) To the extent that I worry about SF, it's not because of his behavior regarding his work with Adam but because he clearly has had some not so nice things to say about previous stars he's written for. Maybe with good reason, who knows, but that doesn't seem to be 100% professional to me. So my instinct, from a purely pragmatic standpoint, LOL, would be that Adam fans should take care not to poke that sleeping dog. In general, positivity in these sorts of situations breeds positivity. The Billboard comments, with a few notable (familiar ) exceptions, seem like a bad idea to me. 5) One think I am super nosey about is why Adam in those first few interviews said that the source of the whistle was a secret, or a surprise, or that he wasn't allowed to say. No idea why they would try to drum up suspense there. After Fox said it was him Adam switched to saying it was one of the writers who could whistle really well. But I'm defo curious about that little mystery! 6) Sorry if, by the time I typed this out, we've moved on! Yay for Finnberts (Finnberts should always be rewarded, IMO) and for upcoming LIVE Adam (Live Adam is my absolute FAVE Adam!!) .

I think any Adam fans who do not want the light shining on Sterling Fox to start ignoring him -- particularly on Twitter. Because if Adam notices it, it will tweet to defend Sterling Fox and then it will get noticed. Is there anything he is saying that isn't true? In this article it is called "Adam Lambert's" Ghost Town and he says he co-wrote the demo before working on "Lambert’s version with Max Martin and Ali Payami." Here is the article -- so can someone tell me how this is different than anything Adam has said? JMHO -- the Sterling Fox version has no magic about it and just proves two things to me: 1. Adam is a great vocalist. 2. Max Martin is a magician. (And I listened to it without giving it a full play -- so no count added.) ETA: Didn't Max Martin add the whistle? Well, I'm not sure who added the whistle. Anyway, they asked Adam at least twice (in two different interviews) who made the whistle for GT. Adam said: "The guy who wrote the song made (recorded) the whistle." I assumed 'the guy' was Sterling Fox. But Adam never named him. I found it quite interesting - Adam didn't have a problem to talk about Max Martin, Shellback or Ali Payami. But I didn't hear him to talk about Fox, saying his name. I dunno why. Adam has identified Sterling by name in at least one recent interview
