Does anyone have any reliable data on how many GB's are consumed by streaming music for a time period? Same for Videos? Some/Many internet providers have caps that are not well known to the consumer, if you go over the cap you are subject to additional fees. I have been streaming GT pretty much 24/7 and have not come close to my GB phone plan yet. It is so individual to your carrier & plan, I think people just need to check individually. I monitor mine from time to time as well, but what I was really looking for data on streaming consumption not so much as how much a plan allows. Obviously all plans have different caps, I was hopeful that somewhere there would be data on how many GB's a HD youtube uses over a time period as opposed to say a low resolution version.

DRAT!!! I've been streaming GT at Spotify and then it just stopped streaming and I got a message that my internet provider is not going to allow streaming anymore and that Spotify will try to contact them. However, when I went back, I was able to stream again for awhile but then my Flash Player stopped working. Could it be that my provider has blocked it? I'm going to contact the Geek Squad. I have a contract with them. I couldn't do Rate the Music on Q102 either because it requires a Flash Player. Check your plans consumption limits with your ISP, they have caps and will either charge you or throttle your access if you go over. This is why I asked earlier for streaming data usage rates.

This is what the services publish -- I have not tested any of these numbers. Beats MusicStandard quality: 64kbps High quality: 320kbps SpotifyNormal quality: 96 kbps High quality: 160kbps Extreme quality: 320kbps Google Play Music
Three quality settings, with a maximum of 320kbps. (They do not break it down.) Pandora (which no one should use, included for comparison) Maximum rate is 64kbps (adjusts automatically depending on your connection) Apple radio has no published spec. (so Apple of them!)

I retweet without many followers as well. At least they see interest. I also try to reply how much I like the song, thanks for the tip on a great tune or some other such compliment of the song.
