MEDIABASE has changed its recurrent rules. effective APRIL 1st, 2012 with the airplay week of MARCH 25th-31st.
For all formats except Country and AC: Songs below No. 10 are removed from the chart after 20 weeks provided they have peaked in the Top 10. If a song has not peaked in the Top 10, it must be down in spins for two consecutive weeks and have been on the chart over 20 weeks.
For AC: Songs below No. 5 are also removed after 40 weeks and/or songs below No. 10 are removed from the chart after 20 weeks
There are no changes to the Country chart.
Songs trending down in spins and points for three consecutive weeks below #1 are removed.

Is anyone familiar with this site Mediabase Callout Research ---if so would you please explain. I'm curious as to why Ghost Town isn't listed. The site was just updated today. Songs must be at least 60% familiar to qualify--so maybe that's why? Not enough radio play yet? On AllAccess Rate the Music Ghost Town is doing great under HOT AC but it's not showing up under Top 40 I am curious about this as well. |

I don't see Ellie losing her #10 spot tonight, so IMO, GT will end up #31 on the officials, but will bump up to #29 within a few days due to Meghan & a few other potential negatives above.
Probably #23 on HAC because even though Kelly's new song passed it, her old song is going recurrent. After that, it is a log jam at HAC!
