How could someone think he is creepy? Blows my mind. The video, maybe -- but live he is superb and amazing. He really nailed that vocal. Really set the mood with his acting and look. Smokin hot I say!!!

The official video of the show will soon be on YouTube as well. They are adding them from the show now already. Man he really slayed that performance!  To bad they didn't have time to speak with him. That would have been so nice. I saw someone on twitter say that they find him creepy. Him talking would have prevented that I believe.Dutch people on twitter are saying he play backed! No way he did that. Some also mentioned autotune. I guess they aren't used to watching the best singer there is right now. Most performances are pretty bad live on the show. Creepy...? I don't get it...  Re comments about playback, I just watched the official show video & it seemed to me that there was a backing track adding a vocal layer in a few places (especially the " my heart is a ghost town" line). Perhaps that's what they meant? No lip synching, no autotuning, no sweetening...just another layer of sound in select places to give the live performance a similar effect to the recorded version, I think. |
