I will not call....I will not call...this is hard... CALL!!! And I will too and let's take each other! See... I think it would be better for me to stay away from any radio related event which is sad of course ...we've discussed this to death but I do believe the age matters in this case and I truly want the audience to be in the demo group... so, I will not call, I will not call... besides i have the other three events... I know nothing is like a small 200 people venue for a concert, but I have to do what I preach... |

I think the point is if you want to help Adam's sales ITunes is the place to go..other than that do what you want.. Shoshanna is relaying the facts.. the rest is up to you.. you can't change the system today...  But I don't have to buy into that system.. Nobody is talking about buying in to any system. Shoshanna is pointing out what the industry in the UK specifically looks at and if the goal is to have your purchase in the UK give the biggest impact for Adam then you would need to buy from iTunes. If the statistics show that 96% of single sales in the UK are from iTunes then that is what the industry is going to focus on and that isn't going to change until the statistics do. Shoshanna is just trying to direct the fans to do what benefits Adam the most which is what fans have been asking her all along. |

My husband announced he heard Ghosttown on the radio. Atlanta folks!!! He said he was not impressed. I told him he needed to listen a few times. it would grow on him.

I'm having Radio Nova on (while watching Serena Williams vs Lucie Safarova from Roland Garros, Paris) because they started their broadcast from the event one hour before the actual concert starts. That's also a sure bet to hear everything even during TV news break (just in case Adam would be on then which I don't believe, but...). So far the campaign song and talk about the charity. If you want to do the same (on the off chance of an interview of Adam) www.radionova.fi/nettiradio/nova/ (or from here by clicking the symbol at the top www.radionova.fi/ ) There's an ad first and I hope it's a little bit delayed as I have it on my stereo and will try to post if they mention Adam coming. I wasn't replying to shoshanna's post, I was replying to Nica's, I didn't even quote shoshanna's post, the facts don't bother me. Why would I care if 96% of single sales in the UK are from Itunes? I don't live in the UK! And I don't use itunes, ever. Your post is pointless!
Q3 comment: Please try to stay respectful -- even if people miss your point completely. Sometime it is hard on a forum to explain and interpret a comment.

ya... I had a convo at work once where most peeps said they download mp3s and never do iTunes...and it's not the "age" thing...my DS (21) doesn't use iTunes either... Me and my friends don't use it either. Sound quality could be better and iTunes itself is a horrible music player. I'd say most people I know just use Spotify and YouTube. |
