ya... I had a convo at work once where most peeps said they download mp3s and never do iTunes...and it's not the "age" thing...my DS (21) doesn't use iTunes either... Me and my friends don't use it either. Sound quality could be better and iTunes itself is a horrible music player. I'd say most people I know just use Spotify and YouTube. Well I guess the system will have to change at some point to be all inclusive. progress coming little by little..but for now it is what it is.. :  |

Nobody is talking about buying in to any system. Shoshanna is pointing out what the industry in the UK specifically looks at and if the goal is to have your purchase in the UK give the biggest impact for Adam then you would need to buy from iTunes. If the statistics show that 96% of single sales in the UK are from iTunes then that is what the industry is going to focus on and that isn't going to change until the statistics do. Shoshanna is just trying to direct the fans to do what benefits Adam the most which is what fans have been asking her all along.
