Daughtry is signed to RCA as an individual and the band personnel has changed over the past few years. His debut album was recorded with session musicians (and Slash on one song). After Chris was signed to RCA, RCA held auditions for the touring band members -- 3 of whom are still in Daughtry. Regarding Gaga -- she sells more and has more money to invest in promotion. That said, Judas cost $10 million and is the most expensive video ever made -- even after accounting for inflation. It is hard to imagine that a $3 million video could not have been just as effective. I liked Cheeks's reaction: GoCheeksGo Cheeks I swear to the Christ that Gaga loves to hump, if someone handed me 10 million, I'd make a video for 1 and give the other 9 away. Why...? GoCheeksGo Cheeks Because 9 million will actually DO something for people. Who will your 10 mil video feed -- aside from the wealthy labels & producers? |

Hey to everyone.... Thanks for doing what you do! Tweets, vids, pics, articles, hilar recaps, etc. I finally got the courage to do what must be done and sent my dear doggie to the rainbow bridge to wait for me. Coming here has helped me feel better. Many hugs to you lynneville, such a hard decision and it did take courage and lots of love. Your dear doggie is in some good company at the rainbow bridge. Five of my cats will keep him busy until we get there.  |

Be honest ladies, even if it wasn't Adam this eye to eye and great body language would have bought at least another hour or so, right? Cup of coffee? Walk on the beach? Discuss our signs? Who will be our next governor?

[I've been thinking about this lately and I wonder if that's a conversation he and Monte had before he went on Idol. Obvs, they were initially trying to get signed as a band, but when Adam realized he would have to do something drastic (go on Idol) there would be the possibility that he would be signed as a solo act. Which is what happened. He has always been very loyal to Monte and anyone who he has connected with in the past always gets the first call, it seems. However, if they are busy (and anyone in entertainment knows, that's the best-case scenario) you have to go to the next person on the list. I'm sure they have a roster of backup players (they would have to in case someone got sick or injured on tour or if there was some kind of emergency). Yes...we saw that with Madonna. Monte left... did the TV gig with her and Tommy took over for him on guitar for Adam's tv appearance. They never did get a base player for the one gig, (backup was computer technology that time) Had it been longer ..they would have to have sourced another person. And they will have to find another techie for Moscow as Warren is out of commission. I guess we will wait and see who is in the entourages for Quebec! If he wants to keep the same band doesn't he have to give them some kind of retainer so they can afford to say no to jobs that may cross over Adam's gigs. I think Monte went to play for Madonna is it was for charity and a special event not sure he would get paid for that. |

On the Mary Magdalene -- most modern biblical scholars have rejected the traditional view of Mary Magdalene as a prostitute -- this appears to have been a later recasting of her.
