Was it ever confirmed that Gaga's vid cost 10 mill tho? To my admittedly untrained eye it doesn't scream ten million dollars. It doesn't look cheap by any means but I dunno...I have a feeling that is one of those rumors that immediately takes hold. I could very well be wrong...I just don't see how that 10 mill was spent. Besides, 10, 20, 30 mill...whatever...will not make me like the song. Sorry. The visuals in the vid were nice though. I actually liked it better than BTW vid because it wasn't trying TOO hard to be obtuse and bizarre in a pompous way. It just had cool make up and costumes and an interesting plot and some dumb dancing and one smokin Jesus! Could have done without the weird interlude with the waves and shit, but whatever. Really all you need in a vid is A HOT JESUS! Lol. Adam take notes! Haa I have also wondered where the 10 million figure came from. I agree, Jesus is hot in this video. ;D Sure, she could have given part of the money to charity or schools or whatever- but shouldn't that type of reasoning go for everyone? Why spend even 1 million on a video? Or tons of money on an album cover? Why not be the type of artist who just puts your name on the cover and gives the money alloted for album art to the homeless? You have to spend money to make money. Gaga spends the big bucks on costumes, props, dancers, concert sets, videos, etc. I guess she could take all that money and give it to charity, but then again the reason she can give 100s of thousands of dollars to charity is because she is bringing in millions due to all the sales from her elaborate concerts, videos, and productions. It really is a cycle of spend more to make more. At some point, it may stop working. For now, she shouldn't fix what isn't broken.

Not too get too far off on a Gaga tangent -- that video may not really have cost $10 million but it was reported by Billboard, not just some anon blogger. And many 15 sec and 30 sec TV commercials cost $2 million -- so it is possible. I am more interested in seeing what kind of AI mentor Gaga will be. I can't want to see her with Scotty.

This is my wish too, rabbitrabbit. All the musicians and back up singers he needs so that backing tracks are not needed.

This is my wish too, rabbitrabbit. All the musicians and back up singers he needs so that backing tracks are not needed. Even when artists have back up singers and large bands, pop singers are using back-up tracks because the can't replicate their hit songs otherwise. I would love to see Adam with backup singers, and using backing tracks were he want to create the best show.

Hey to everyone.... Thanks for doing what you do! Tweets, vids, pics, articles, hilar recaps, etc. I finally got the courage to do what must be done and sent my dear doggie to the rainbow bridge to wait for me. Coming here has helped me feel better. Much love, Lynneville!

This is from USA Today: "I'll be more curious to see what suggestions Gaga has for our Idols. Beyond her provocative, attention-demanding stunts, she has a strong foundation in classic pop-music styles, but I can only imagine what she and James will cook up together. And, clearly, Haley Reinhart's Gaga-friendly, having helped the singer promote her new album by performing the yet-to-be released You and I Wednesday. But how will Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery get along with her? I'd think the Scotty-Gaga meeting has the potential to be the most awkward Idol-mentor moment since Randy Travis met Adam Lambert."Link: content.usatoday.com/communities/idolchatter/post/2011/05/lady-gaga-to-mentor-american-idol-final-four-next-week/1I kind of like the thought that there is karma for that really awkward Adam-Randy meeting -- Ring of Fire week. Hopefully Gaga will be more open-minded than Randy Travis was.

Adam #2 and the next tour are constantly on my mind.
I'm afraid to wish for much except for what he's already promised, the extra focus on the vocals.
And one other tiny little thing, more nekkedness on stage.

The band? Dancers? I don't really care, I couldn't take my eyes off of Adam! They all seem like a group of loyal friends and Adam seemed happy, so I'm good with them all coming back for that reason. Other than that, I will leave it to Adam to select the type of band/dancers/back-up singers he wants for the next era. He may want a different type of vibe with Adam #2. His vision for performances and stage shows could be different this time around and all of the old crew may not fit in if he decides to go a different direction.

Awwwww! This sounds so prophetic...they were just walking down the street, Adam is the sweetest person in the world, their eye probably met and not many words were needed because Adam's hands were covering Sauli's ears. I'll second your awww.... Sorry, couldn't resist..
