just watched the gaga video...
yeah... no. She's become so fucking pretenious as to be annoying now.
Gaga will be much more open than Randy. Gaga is very giving to other artists. There is a video of her with Archie where she's practically cuddling with him.

This is from USA Today: "I'll be more curious to see what suggestions Gaga has for our Idols. Beyond her provocative, attention-demanding stunts, she has a strong foundation in classic pop-music styles, but I can only imagine what she and James will cook up together. And, clearly, Haley Reinhart's Gaga-friendly, having helped the singer promote her new album by performing the yet-to-be released You and I Wednesday. But how will Lauren Alaina and Scotty McCreery get along with her? I'd think the Scotty-Gaga meeting has the potential to be the most awkward Idol-mentor moment since Randy Travis met Adam Lambert."Link: content.usatoday.com/communities/idolchatter/post/2011/05/lady-gaga-to-mentor-american-idol-final-four-next-week/1I kind of like the thought that there is karma for that really awkward Adam-Randy meeting -- Ring of Fire week. Hopefully Gaga will be more open-minded than Randy Travis was. I actually think Gaga will be a great mentor. She is so current and she also has talent. I think she can help and advise even Scotty and Lauren. I would bet that all the kids will be nervous though. I would! I am looking forward to some Haley pimping, by Gaga, after the great job Haley did on Gaga's song! Now mind you, I am over Gaga. But I think she will be good to the kids!

Just logged on and have a lot of catching up to do, but gotta say, I love the GREEN theme! So pretty... my favorite color... :D :D :D :D :D ;D As for this: I kind of like the thought that there is karma for that really awkward Adam-Randy meeting -- Ring of Fire week. Hopefully Gaga will be more open-minded than Randy Travis was. Yeah. Randy's pissy, WTF face is not a memory I savor from Idol. But it was damn awesome how gracious Adam was to his face, and then melted the stage with a performance that was so far away from Randy's "country" that it may as well have been from a distant galaxy. 8-) Okay, off to catch up...

Daughtry is signed to RCA as an individual and the band personnel has changed over the past few years. His debut album was recorded with session musicians (and Slash on one song). After Chris was signed to RCA, RCA held auditions for the touring band members -- 3 of whom are still in Daughtry. Regarding Gaga -- she sells more and has more money to invest in promotion. That said, Judas cost $10 million and is the most expensive video ever made -- even after accounting for inflation. It is hard to imagine that a $3 million video could not have been just as effective. I liked Cheeks's reaction: GoCheeksGo Cheeks I swear to the Christ that Gaga loves to hump, if someone handed me 10 million, I'd make a video for 1 and give the other 9 away. Why...? GoCheeksGo Cheeks Because 9 million will actually DO something for people. Who will your 10 mil video feed -- aside from the wealthy labels & producers? He tells it the way he sees it! GoCheeksGo!!! BAM!! ETA: Welcome PEMD!!
