Wow, what an awesome album! I listened to the first four songs that were streamed so many times that I now love them all equally for different reasons, so I can't even begin to rank their order in terms of favorites. On my first listen of the rest of the album, my initial favorites are TOH, "Lucy," "There I Said It" and "Things I Didn't Say." That could all change, though, upon repeated listening; the songs are so intricately layered with music and lyrics that other favorites could easily emerge. Off to do it again!

Just popping back in - I certainly wasn't here to rain on anyone's parade. In fact I had to go back and re-read my mini first thoughts. It wasn't a negative review at all. It's an album that most of you will love and that radio/top 40 should like But an old school rock and roll fan generally is not going to be picking this up to play. That's not a bad thing at all. There are plenty of successful artists throughout time that I respect that I wouldn't pick out to play because it's not the genre of music I enjoy and that's fine. Hell, even WITHIN the rock genre there's artists I don't really pick up to play that I respect. I respect the hell out of Black Sabbath (including one of Brian's best friends Tony Iommi) and I can listen to a few songs, but I don't own any of their albums. I respect Adam quite a bit - Personally and selfishly I want him to do a more full out rock and roll / glam rock album -- or even a theatrical piece (as I enjoy that too...which is why I'm one of the more minority of Queen fans that appreciate Brian/Kerry). Just my preference. But that's not to say he can't do a well crafted pop album - which I think TOH is. So no raining. I was trying to be positive! Sorry I failed in that

Finished my first listen!! Sick album overall. I love the diversity in sound scape and Adam's vocals, kind of the same as the other albums but I guess the consistency in producer keeps it coherent. The lyrics are quality too, way better than Trespassing in that regard. Best tracks: Rumours, Lucy, Ghost Town, The Original High Worst tracks: Evil in the Night, The Light If Evil in the Night is a worst track, then this has got to be the best album in history! I was thinking the exact same thing!

On the fourth listen and I can't find anything I don't love about this album. I am so impressed and delighted with this album.
