OK, just a drive-by post on my first impressions after hearing the whole album. LOVE the whole album - it's a different feel, sure, but it's still Adam Lambert. LOVE The Original High, There I Said It. Rumors are OK, kinda different. Lucy feels VERY different, almost like a new genre fusion, or something. I liked The Light, but, then, I like house, so... Still like Evil in the Night and Ghost Town. Another Lonely Night keeps growing on me more and more. I'm not sure about Heavy Fire, though I always enjoy parts of any song when there are layers upon layers of Adam's vocals, so that's great. Which is why I also loved Things I Didn't Say - such a wall of sound in certain parts! Layers of Adam's voice - what could be better for our listening pleasure? I think The Original High should be the song of the summer, but is it early to release another single so soon after the first? 'Cause, Ghost Town is great but TOH feels more like a summer song, the lyrics even mention summer. Of course, having said that - TOH is better than just a summer song, it's a whole year every year kinda song.

I love TOH, Lucy and There I Said It just to start. Rumors, not so much. Will keep listening, maybe I'm missing something. My DH loves TOH ( keeps asking, "why wasn't that the 1st single?!" And he loves Underground. What a great album, so proud of Adam.

Thankyou Ghost, and to everyone who tried to help out. I got to get ready for work now.. No problem Have a great day at work, and I'm betting that the song will be taking up half the mental space in your brain throughout today You were so right, it did! It's been in my head all day. I was late leaving for work, but thankfully still arrived before time. Luckily I work for myself, so had I arrived late, I would have had to berate myself then promise myself I will not do it again.. Thanks again to everyone who assisted me earlier. You made my morning absolutely sweet...

Just popping back in - I certainly wasn't here to rain on anyone's parade. In fact I had to go back and re-read my mini first thoughts. It wasn't a negative review at all. It's an album that most of you will love and that radio/top 40 should like But an old school rock and roll fan generally is not going to be picking this up to play. That's not a bad thing at all. There are plenty of successful artists throughout time that I respect that I wouldn't pick out to play because it's not the genre of music I enjoy and that's fine. Hell, even WITHIN the rock genre there's artists I don't really pick up to play that I respect. I respect the hell out of Black Sabbath (including one of Brian's best friends Tony Iommi) and I can listen to a few songs, but I don't own any of their albums. I respect Adam quite a bit - Personally and selfishly I want him to do a more full out rock and roll / glam rock album -- or even a theatrical piece (as I enjoy that too...which is why I'm one of the more minority of Queen fans that appreciate Brian/Kerry). Just my preference. But that's not to say he can't do a well crafted pop album - which I think TOH is. So no raining. I was trying to be positive! Sorry I failed in that well ye didna fail ,i liked yer take on things ,its good to hear ,non pop fans opinions , im sure everyone owns a brolly anyway , i took it as , ye thought it wis gid ,fer a pop album

Nice avi change, wal! And thanks for baking today's cakes while Betty is away having her picture taken with AFL.
Adam says he's not good at favourites - neither am I. Just feeling so god damn lucky right now.
