I've never read/heard of reference to a 10 spin limit before </img> WTH is she talking about??? This article is dated 23 June 14: www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-27924176 Scroll down to the last para. "Each track will have to be played for 30 seconds before it counts as one stream. To avoid fans "gaming" the system, only 10 plays will be counted per user, per day." Don't know whether this is still the case.

Hi everyone! I’m back from my short trip to Hamburg, so I quickly wanted to log in to say “Hello!”! Unfortunately I don’t have much time now! I only wanted to thank you all so much for your kind words re. my pics with Adam! I was really moved to tears because of all your sweet posts and kind PM’s and e-mails and all the funny GIF’s, etc! Wow, I even got a cake, so cute, thanks murly!!! And chapf, haha, Ralf and I were ROFL when we saw your GIF of Finchen and Elmo , so sweet, thank you so much!!! And you, my dear Wal, did a fantastic job as my vacation replacement, the cakes you posted look very delicious! Thank you so much for helping me out, so that I could enjoy my days in Hamburg! I don’t have the time to write a recap now, there are so many things to do and everyone wants something from me. I didn’t even have the time to listen to the stream of the new album so far and I’m days behind with the threads and weeks behind with all the interviews and live performances of Adam! I DL all the youtubes and soundclouds but never have the time to watch them or listen to them , haha!!! But I really hope that I will find some time to write a short recap in the next days! ... and ... ... to all of you!!!

THIS is why we have to STREAM, especially the first week that TOH is released, to increase the sales of TOH. For exaple, Florence gained 10,000 album sales from Spotify streaming by her fans and Jason Derulo moved from debuting at #7 with 22,605albums sold to debuting at #4 with 35,743 albums due to his fans streaming. Compare the two charts to see how much an album can gain from streaming that first week and how much it can move UP on the chart: BUILDING ALBUM SALES CHART hitsdailydouble.com/building_album_chartSALES PLUS STREAMING CHART hitsdailydouble.com/sales_plus_streaming Thanks msloyalfan- That is very interesting. I hope we can follow the hitsdailydouble chart when TOH is released.
I worry about how many TOH albums will sell since all the songs are already released. Why would people even bother to buy the album when they have already heard and probably downloaded the songs. Kinda like the old saying "Why buy the cow when you get the milk for free." I stream Adam's complete "The Original High" Youtube playlist daily, and in between I click for extra GT spins. I do similar things on Spotify. I try to run playlists that are loaded with GT, but I always add other artists and other Adam favorites. My gut instinct tells me that it makes sense to "mix it up" a bit. From what I have gathered a while ago, endless loops don't seem to do that much, so instead the secret appears to be to make a conscious "click". Just thought I would share... as I do realize how important streaming and being active on social media is. Those "likes", "hearts", and "re-tweets" on FB, IG, and Twitter are important as well

I am so happy about TOH. I don't want my worries for sales for the album to get in the way of my excitement. But I must admit that it makes me nervous that both James Taylor and Nate Reuss are ahead on iTunes and James Taylor is ahead on Amazon. My hope is that even if for some reason his sales aren't amazing, the songs are so good people will keep buying the album! Streaming will be THE KEY. It is quite understandable James Taylor is ahead on Amazon - generational thing. The kids are streaming, even iTunes is no longer used. Every person under 25 I asked is doing Spotify, YT and/or Soundcloud. iTunes is in the past for them... They don't even understand WHY would anyone pay for a song, when they can have access to millions of tracks for s few $s/month or for free...

I told my 21 year old daughter that I would gift her TOH on iTunes. She said no thanks, she would just stream it on Spotify.
