THIS is why we have to STREAM, especially the first week that TOH is released, to increase the sales of TOH. For exaple, Florence gained 10,000 album sales from Spotify streaming by her fans and Jason Derulo moved from debuting at #7 with 22,605albums sold to debuting at #4 with 35,743 albums due to his fans streaming. Compare the two charts to see how much an album can gain from streaming that first week and how much it can move UP on the chart: BUILDING ALBUM SALES CHART hitsdailydouble.com/building_album_chartSALES PLUS STREAMING CHART hitsdailydouble.com/sales_plus_streamingwait....Jason Derulo with all his major hits is only expected to sell 22,605 alubms?!! That makes me very nervous for TOH edit/ or is that just a partial chart? confused NOPE!!! That is a FINAL chart and Jason Derulo, with his big hit single that is very high on the radio charts and very high in iTunes sales, has actually sold just 22,605 albums TOTAL for his debut (including all pre-sales and sales this past week). This makes me kinda nervous too. Jason has been way ahead of Adam in album sales at iTunes but far below Adam in album sales at Amazon. I read somewhere that iTunes sales make up about 46.5% of total album sales and TOH has not been doing that well on iTunes in the US. I'm hoping for the best but fearing the worst for TOH. I know that it won't sell as well as Trespassing did at its debut but part of that is the poor sales of just about all albums now except for Taylor Swift. I am just hoping that it debuts at #1 or #2 no matter how many it sells and I will be streaming away from midnight when it debuts until the debut week is done to get it higher on the BB chart.

My guess is that WB made the exact same deal for Jason Derulo because he's doing the same stuff. So it's a sort of a barter deal. I guess that RCA either didn't have the connections to do this or didn't care enough about Adam and his music to bother helping him out this way.) I can't forget how RCA did practically 'NO' promo for Adam during the Trespassing Era. I would see all the hype and mag adds for other artists but AFL had do go to radio stations over and over again with these intimate performances (which are great for the fans--up close) but the label did nothing to promote Trespassing after these appearances. Then Adam practically did all the media stuff himself through his own twitter account. Maybe I'm all wrong since I am not working in the industry but that's how I see it. If you can't get your record label to support you and get some deals for you to get your music played on radio....how in the heck is the music ever going to have a chance to become a hit? Well....I didn't mean to go off on my 'soapbox' but I saw how hard (and keeping so much positve energy) Adam worked during the Trespassing Era with little label help and I get a little sad but mostly mad!lol I feel the same adamrocks!!!! What a waste of time for Adam to go and go and go to all these stations with no chance of them ever playing the songs. RCA=

He deserves the very best and he's getting it with WB.

Alex Goldschmidt @alexandergold · 1m1 minute ago 26 years old. Working in entertainment. Proud member of Taylor Swift's coven. Not only is @adamlambert's new album my favorite album he's ever done, but it's easily one of the best albums released in the past decade.

Oh I agree.....forward and upward!! But when I see how hard Adam is working now promoting his music with a GREAT supportive team....I can't help but remember Era 2 and once in a while my 'soapbox' vibe overtakes me! In my happy zone now!

Love Warner. I love how my head is spinning trying to keep up. Adam is PR machine. I keep wondering how long can he keep this up! It is so wonderful that this time he has so much support Love this album, current favs are ALN ( not ever a moo for me), the killer title track, and the glorious TISI .

I am so happy about TOH. I don't want my worries for sales for the album to get in the way of my excitement. But I must admit that it makes me nervous that both James Taylor and Nate Reuss are ahead on iTunes and James Taylor is ahead on Amazon. My hope is that even if for some reason his sales aren't amazing, the songs are so good people will keep buying the album!
