I wonder if making Rumors the next single would boost Adam's popularity. Could imagine listeners hearing Tove Lo on the track on radio and finding out what song it is, and then finding out about The Original High YesI hope Rumours is the next single. Tove Lo has a big fanbase. Big numbers on Youtube page too. Either that or TOH. Perfect Marketing Strategy. Hope for TOH! The best track on this album! BY FAR! |

I love Tove Lo, but that track is not very strong for a second single - reason to buy the album. It's pretty enough, but TOH has more hooks. Maybe number four? If they knew that Tove Lo would have hit with her solo stuff, they may have mixed it differently, IMHO. Yeah they are all solid single choices. I well say TOH well be the second single. Lucy is prob my fav from the cut, reminds me of MJ's Dirty Diana. Rumours is so radio ready though, really contemporary. Coulden't beleive it wsa Adam when I first listined to it, thats a good thing. I still think Another Lonely Night is possible. |

My vote for next single is TOH. SUPER strong for a summer single. Also has the added promo benefit of being the album title too.

Had hopes, but so far the bonus tracks aren't doing it for me.  But, like all things Adam, time and repetition have changed my mind in the past. I'll be glad when I can actually have the music all downloaded for loopy listening  is there any song you have liked? Just curious. I wouldn't expect to hear anything with a rock edge from Adam. Rock is not commercial anymore. |

Just have to say (before going to bed exhausted), that I LOVE These Boys! So catchy, I'm singing it in my head already. Love that jumpy chorus. Only listened to the bonus tracks once, but will listen more tomorrow. Lyrics aren't very clear to me yet. But THESE BOYS just jumped out and grabbed me. I could imagine hearing on the radio or seeing Adam perform it live. It's fun and catchy. LOVE IT!

Finally got home and was able to listen to the bonus tracks. I especially loved These Boys. It just makes me feel happy and want to move! I wouldn't mind Rumors as a single. I guess tastes are different but I really like it! I like Tove Lo's voice and I think they sound good together.It also sounds like what I hear on the radio. What I love about TOH is there is not one song that I will skip. I had songs on both FYE and TP that I skipped but all of these songs are good! I agree -- I like or love or absolutely adore every track on this album. And I am particularly enjoying the variety and range of styles of Adam's vocals. I also really like the style, quality and consistency of the production. The other Adam albums were like "boxes of chocolate" -- when I bit into each song, I mostly liked what I found. But occasionally one did not suit me. This is like a lush rich chocolate mousse -- smooth, fun, satisfying. Oh and then there is the dancing!  |
