I think Septemeber is kind of late for his single. I'd like to see end of summer of even July. ;D I'd love to see 2 singles before the album comes out! Single may be out sooner but I am not expecting it until August or September -- Adam said late summer for a single, November for the album -- and when was he ever early on something? I will be happy with one big hit song before the album releases and one+ trailing hit songs after the album releases -- that will sell the most albums and make the most money for Adam. I will wait for a really great album. I will wait for Adam to be done with his album -- not that I have any choice -- there is no substitute!

ty edit: lovin' it. esp after just seeing her 2 wks ago. You are welcome, I just got home from early Mother's Day dinner. I am glad to be able to see it here, since I don't subscribe to HBO. Does Gaga do the same choreo for all her concerts? yes, that's pretty much the same concert i saw.

I don't want to blow up the page, but I've enlarged the black feather pic to 1200 x 1644. Click on the link to see it. Edit Click on the small pic to enlarge.

ty edit: lovin' it. esp after just seeing her 2 wks ago. Lucky you..I would luv to see a live GAGA show! Watched a bit of the stream but I lost it. Heard lots of reverb, but that gal puts on a hell of a show, from what I saw. Say what you will about Gaga, but she is one dedicated artist.

Watching the Monster Ball...Gaga is brilliant.. She's beyond talented dancer, singer, song writer. This is almost two hours long and she has been on the whole time, she is totally leaving herself on that stage. This is the first time I have really liked her. She also talks to the audience and engages them constantly. With all the great dancers on stage, amazing sets, great musicians, must cost a fortune to put this show on,I still don't feel under her spell like I do with Adam. His budget has to be that of a pauper next to this extravaganza.Yet with all of above, Adam gets to me emotionally. When he performs,I feel so much..I cry and laugh with Adam. I admire Gaga ,but I LOVE ADAM. He MOVES me.

I miss seeing him perform. I miss his MUSIC! These one offs can't come too soon for me, even though I can't go to either.

I'm watching Gaga's concert too (I'm a little behind; just finished "Show Me Your Teeth") and I'm enjoying, but there is a joyousness that is missing. She's ferocious, but from my first take, there isn't the heart, soul, story and fluidity that Adam exhibits on stage. I've seen Adam a ridiculous number of times and it has always been a joyful (and mind-blowing) experience. Gaga seems intense, angry, calculated, a little vulnerable, but very self-involved.
Also, I can really see the difference between someone who loves to perform, for the sake of performing and someone who is doing it to make a point. Maybe Gaga does love performing, but that's not really coming across to me right now. It's coming across as angry and kind of an ego trip, largely.
I will say, "Speechless" is a gorgeous song and she's incredibly passionate and energetic.
ETA: Another thing I just noticed, her dancers are devoid of personality. They are automatons there to serve her. I loved how the GNT dancers were all different in looks and role, which made them unique. Adam, if you're lurking, please do not cast an army of generic dancers. Go with a smaller number that have their own personalities and roles to play, thanks!!
