Lucky you..I would luv to see a live GAGA show! Watched a bit of the stream but I lost it. Heard lots of reverb, but that gal puts on a hell of a show, from what I saw. Say what you will about Gaga, but she is one dedicated artist. she was the whole reason "gorgeous" came to nyc a couple of weeks ago. otherwise he would have come in the summer. Hey, we froze our butts off to see Adam at RMT too...some things ya just gotta do Bet Gorgeous finds another reason to come to NYC..he seems smitten. Ah, NYC 3>3>3

I'm watching Gaga's concert too (I'm a little behind; just finished "Show Me Your Teeth") and I'm enjoying, but there is a joyousness that is missing. She's ferocious, but from my first take, there isn't the heart, soul, story and fluidity that Adam exhibits on stage. I've seen Adam a ridiculous number of times and it has always been a joyful (and mind-blowing) experience. Gaga seems intense, angry, calculated, a little vulnerable, but very self-involved. Also, I can really see the difference between someone who loves to perform, for the sake of performing and someone who is doing it to make a point. Maybe Gaga does love performing, but that's not really coming across to me right now. It's coming across as angry and kind of an ego trip, largely. I will say, "Speechless" is a gorgeous song and she's incredibly passionate and energetic. Has she already performed Speechless?? I lost the stream.. :-/

Gaga live is an experience -- and the Monster Ball is amazing. The best estimate is that the Monster Ball Tour may not have broken even. And the scale of the production is amazing for an arena show vs. a stadium show.
I was lucky enough to see her a few times in small venues -- and she was totally amazing even without the big production. I would be the first in line to see a striped down LG show -- even though I really appreciated the big production show too.

They are automatons there to serve her. I loved how the GNT dancers were all different in looks and role, which made them unique. Adam, if you're lurking, please do not cast an army of generic dancers. Go with a smaller number that have their own personalities and roles to play, thanks!! ITA!!!!

Sooooo, I also watched the HBO Gaga concert. It was really good! No wonder that girl is losing it! She is on that stage almost constantly. The longest time offstage for her, was 2 minutes and then right before the Encore was a bit longer! She must be exhausted all the time! I think her talking to the audience sounds way more scripted and corny than Adam's. But the show is over all, spectacular! Oh, I noticed Executive Producer is Jimmy Iovine!!!
