nice little interview, but they didn';t have time to play full songs? Not even full GT? and mostly guitar bit for Lucy...somewhat disappointing...
Hope it was enough to generate some interest though! GO UK!

So glad we in the Netherlands aren't that narrow minded. Our stations gladly match Ghost Town up with WWRY from Queen or WWYFM with I want it all. Great combination ofcouse  . And these station target also below 35 (18-35 mostly). The Original High is now #9 overall on Dutch iTunes by the way!!!! Only 3 other one artist only albums before him!! (Muse, B.B. King and Typhoon.) GT is also gaining back some losses from yesterday when it wasn't available and now on #15 overall.  we are NOT narrow minded in the U,K ,, this is by far the most popular station here ,5 MILLION more listeners that R1 the breakfast ,and drivetime progs ,play top 40 music , also ,and this is just mvho ,i will be very surprised if GT gets onto R1 playlist ,, because of his age , The UK is not narrow minded but I think the BBC Radio scheme is out of step with the UK radio audience. At least it does not look anything like the other English language countries. PS For an American, the concept of government mandated race radio is a bit surprising -- although we do it in the US with other labels "Urban" and "R&B" and those radio formats play a few non-black artists. We no longer have "black" radio like we did in the 1920-1958 period. |

I am very Zen about UK radio. There isn't a damn thing I can do about them! Shosh is working her butt off getting Adam into print, on TV, radio interviews, etc. Adam is working hard! Charmaciding everyone! WBR UK has the job of getting GT played. If the UK's exclusionary tactics don't get cracked, oh well! Being played in every country & a hit or 2 in the US is great!
