6.13.15 Tonight National Lottery Performance (UK), more news

(I might've missed something during the latter half of the first hour but IDTS, they changed the topic, I got a phone call and had it muted for a bit.)

The Voice (radio, Finland) AL weekend - the second hour (Saturday)

They had two clips of a fan on the phone. She said Finnberts have found each other on social media, connection lead to meetings and concert trips together, friendships formed, also with people from foreign countries, it's a community, acceptance adopted from Adam. After a song by other she told a story from WAG Helsinki where some fans camped outside the venue in a very cold weather, how Adam commented on their pic how dedicated they were and those fans got to meet Adam (or just specially acknowledged?).

Then ALN was played the host gushing again about it followed by some commercials and news. Then also TOH was played followed by an album ad and a mention that the 'AL weekend' continues with his new music and interview clips. Apparently she meant tomorrow as the third hour is going on and a new host in on air.

I can't comment on the UK because I don't know anything about how it works over there but there is no reason to worry in the US. A couple of points to remember are that there are at least 3 versions of GT available to chart on iTunes because there are 3 different album versions for sale and GT is free with album pre-order.  The versions of GT and TOH that we are seeing chart reports for are the explicit GT and the deluxe explicit album. 

The explicit GT is at #130 overall & #40 Pop this morning, up from #195 United States #56 Pop two weeks ago.  Radio was just starting to have an impact on sales.  The first noticeable impact was GT explicit stabilizing on iTunes about 3 weeks or so ago.  It had been gradually dropping with slight boosts when other grat tracks were released.  At that point the clean version was not in the top 1500 at all.  Then two weeks ago GT (clean) jumped back in to the top 1500 bouncing around between 1100-1500 for a few days. On 6/5 it jumped up to #831 United States (clean) #182 Pop, wobbled a bit then started climbing steadily and today is at #446 United States (clean) #103 Pop.

So if you are just watching the position of GT (explicit) you don't see the huge spike that GT (clean) has shown over the last week.

In the meantime the album had been down in the 300's overall and it started climbing again around 6/7 and is this morning at #126 United States #12 Pop.  This is the deluxe explicit version and the only one currently in the top 1500 but since GT is free with the album pre-order remember that every album sale cuts in to the GT sales numbers.  If someone had purchased GT then decided to go ahead and complete the album to get the other grat tracks rather than buying them individually then that actually subtracts a sale from GT.

There is no reason to worry about the iTunes positions of GT or the album at this point because they are well within expectation.
