Just doing some figuring...
24 x 60= 1440 min in a day
1 song = 3.5 min
1440 / 3.5 = about 441.5 songs in a day
1500 songs = 1 album
1500 / 441.5 = 3.4 days
It would take one of us 3.4 days playing only TOH songs 24/7 in order to gain 1 album sale through streaming.
I suppose there is something to be said for establishing Adam's fans as twenty-first-century consumers of music.

I can't answer the 1st question. As far as "free" - I think you need to pay if you want to play "on demand" on your mobile (same as Spotify) but you can use it free in your browser on desktop - That's how I use it. I think we determined a while back that you can stream on demand on free Spotify except perhaps on a phone. Paid Spotify allows you more playlist-sharing options and off-line playing. As long as you're selecting the song and playing it and it isn't playing from the library on your device, it is streaming, and I am doing that with both my iPad and my PC. They had a special offer of $.99 for 3 months and this seemed like the perfect time to subscribe. On my iPhone it says Available Offline, but we have to stream it online, right? As long as I don't turn on "Available Offline", I'm streaming online? I have wifi, so the streaming would not count towards my data I'm assuming.. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

That's what I did, too. My receipt says my next payment of $9.99 is due in September. I can cancel before the regular charges apply. Edit My son informed me a while back that technically we had a data limit on our Comcast wifi of 300 GB per month and we regularly exceeded the limit. However, Comcast has said that they don't enforce the limit. If you are streaming on your device outside of wifi, you might have data fees. And if you are paying streaming costs and data fees, it might be more cost effective to simply buy one more album.

I have the .99c from Spotify too, but the question was about RDIO. Does RDIO have a .99c offer as well?

Totally ridiculous - yeah, yeah - I know that no one buys cd's, everyone is totally into streams, yada, yada, yada. But if your numbers are accurate, then artists are woefully underpaid and streaming just supports that. The seeming ease with which the number of plays can be manipulated (just turning on your computer and turning off the sound and letting it cycle endlessly) is a prime example of a system gone very wrong.

I just bought a month worth of Rdio for my iphone to augment Spotify on my laptop. So far very confusing but am alway that away with new tech. What would l type into search to get your playlist? jean, I don't know for sure as I've never searched for a playlist but my name on RDIO is "nica nica" . You can easily find any available Adam's song by searching on "Adam Lambert <insert song/album name>" and save it in your own playlist. I am using their free service on my laptop in a browser not as an app. atm I have GhostTown on replay - click on the circly thingy to the right of the player at the bottom of the screen (again, I am on laptop, idk how it works on a mobile) Hi nica or anyone else. Signed up for Rdio and pulled up Nica's playlist but it only plays 30 sec snippets and then goes on to Katy Perry or whatever. How do I get it to play the whole song?
