Was it a Hillary Duff fan post? They seem very focused on Adam. James Taylor is having a very strong presale. He is now #2 and #3 on Amazon best sellers. Adam is #13, Nate #69. Over on iTunes if is James Taylor at #44, Nate at #65 and Adam at #122. Hillary Duff does not appear to be in the game yet. They didn't explicitly identify as HD fans but were well informed about her album so they might have been. Based on those chart positions you posted , JT is a real threat - I assume that his fans do a lot of buying from the bricks and mortar sellers too James Taylor will not get much from streaming or from track sales - but this will not be a cakewalk. It is better than most other recent weeks. I would have hated to have Adam up against Florence + The Machine last week.

While I reallllllly want a #1 debut for TOH, I think having three CD's debut in the Top 5 would be pretty durn good. Hope that, at least, comes to pass.

According to Billboard only audio streams count for the Billboard 200. I have listed all the streaming services they count on page one -- this is from Billboard official documents. It is also in many company official documents. I have read that previously about the audio. That initially had made me think no to video, but when something doesn't count, like Pandora, YouTube generally spells it out. And this isn't spelled out. We are inferring. My point was it's very hard to see how Taylor gets to 13.5 million streams last week without YouTube streams since she doesn't do Spotify. I just doesn't make sense to me that YT would not count for the album if it counts for the single. Plus it's a very popular method of "listening" to music.

Thanks for the tip, nica. Adam is within 1% of O.D. ETA: He's ahead!! Ohyeah, the glamberts have pushed him up to more than 10% ahead of 1D! I think I must have repeated the vote-refresh-vote-refresh process about hundreds of times Time to continue voting!

Was there an answer to this? As long as the album is streaming on Amazon -- it counts. No Prime membership needed for that. Stream the available TOH tracks on any of the other audio streaming service Billboard uses for the Billboard 200. Amazon Prime Audio On-Demand (IF THEY HAVE TOH, they usually do not have new releases) Beats Music Audio On-Demand Google Play Audio On-Demand Medianet Audio On-Demand Medianet Audio Tethered Rdio Audio On-Demand Plays (including non-DMCA radio) Rdio Audio Tethered Plays Rhapsody Audio On-Demand Plays Rhapsody Audio Tethered Plays Slacker Audio On-Demand Plays Spotify Audio On-Demand Plays (including non-DMCA radio) Xbox Music Audio On-Demand Plays (including non-DMCA radio) Xbox Music Audio Tethered Plays There are free trials and free ad supported versions for Rdio, Spotify, Google Play, Beats, Rhapsody. Beats is really easy to use!! (Thanks @graciejane for the tip!) I will post a list of links to free trials in about an hour. What can we do from Canada to help out?

I think it's going to be hard to best James Taylor. He's been way ahead of Adam on everything (hasn't he?) and for quite awhile.....I'm just hoping for a top 5 debut and steady sales. It will be interesting to see how this week's promo plays out. I'm excited! I will be happy with Top 3. I want #1. But I would trade #1 for several weeks of decent sales. Adam probably has the biggest fan site presale this week. And TOH was up to #3 on iTunes when it first went on Presale. (James Taylor hit #1 but no big fanclub pack.) And Adam has the CD signing coming up - that could be 800 - 1,000 CDs. 1,000 here, 1,000 there and it adds up. Adam will be ahead of James Taylor on streaming and track sales. This really looks like a week where one artist could top the sales chart (James Taylor) and another artist could top the Billboard 200 (Adam). I would be very happy with that. BUT I WANT ADAM TO TAKE BOTH!! Adam is certainly the top seller of the three globally because he is selling music in so many countries.

Help please. I'm having trouble with the Quote function. I've done it fine before, but now I can't get my post to appear under the post I am responding to. It just goes to the bottom. Also, can't seem to find that BBCode button, or whatever it's called. I must be doing something wrong/different. Any suggestions? Sometimes I accidentally get my cursor INSIDE the quote and delete something. Then I can't get it to move outside the quote area. I get stuck. So I click to return to the previous screen and start over again.
