On one hand there is the concern that it is moving up not so much now because of big spin increases as much as other songs dropping and it at least is more or less holding it's relative position. AI is dropping and that is concerning but that seems to be the story of the last week or so. On the other hand, GT enters the AT 40 today and most likely cracks Billboard. The album is set for a respectable release and it appears that the WBR strategy is a long range promotion and build for the album and the artist as opposed to a flashy entry number. Adam by all measures seems happy and confident. I am such a newbie in this world and trying to weigh this juncture. what to you all think? I was so impressed with the in depth Lindsy interview and Adam's thoughtful unfolding of his journey from theater to pop. And I was really happy that he seemed to be secure that he is established and will always work and is just doing what needs to be done in the moment. I also love his clarity about needing to be creative and free of the tyranny of stultifying situations even those he always aspired towards like a big run of a Broadway show. I agree, it is in an 'interesting' place - next week is going to be a very important one in my opinion.

For Ghost Town Sweden, latest position nr 67, history here www.swedishcharts.com/showitem.asp?interpret=Adam+Lambert&titel=Ghost+Town&cat=sFinland, latest position in downloads nr 2, in radioplay nr 13, history here www.ifpi.fi/tilastot/virallinen-lista/artistit/adam+lambert/ghost+townThe Finnish site actually doesn't seem to work in English... so The first list 'Latauslista' is downloads, the second one 'Radiosoittolista' is radio play (both by week nr. in pink, placement in black). I believe radioplay is the newest addition as there are none for older songs. (Some radio stations have monitored radioplay but it's not "official" statistics.) The actual official list for singles sales looks like it's physical copies or something, they list retailers that report and they are shops. IDK why they have iTunes on that list as an exception but GT is not in the top 20 - while at the same time it's nr 2 most downloaded item... I went to check earlier weeks upto wk16 and it's not there at all. Older singles have placements reported in that list, for example BTIKM is listed 9 and 14 in downloads and also the same on single sales list. Whatever it entails, it seems too murky to be important (at least right now for me).

That Swedish one is a little weird because it shows the position as 67 but a peak of 64 so does that mean it was higher before? Also can you figure out if it gives a chart date? All I see is what looks like a week number but not an actual date. I'll list it as today for now.

All I see is what looks like a week number but not an actual date. I'll list it as today for now. All the numbers you see are dates for Sweden (weeks are used in Finland). Maybe the date format is the problem, I'm not sure... First they give 'entry' 84 on '2015-05-01' which is May 1, 2015. Then 'last week in charts' 67 on '2015-06-12' which is June 12, 2015. The peak so far was 64 (go to 2nd headline 'tracks') on 15.05.2015 which is May 15, 2015. The first two dates are written as is official in Sweden (for IDs, stats etc.) in order year-month-day but the third one is given the way they speak (and the way we in Finland do it everywhere) in order day-month-year > 'den femtonde maj' or 'den 15. maj' = the fifteenth of May or the 15th of May. The latest week is still to be updated (ending Friday June 19). If you click the underlined date you'll get the whole chart for that date and there's a drop-down menu on top to move to another date. One last edit to this about the dates expressed with series of numbers: the formatting with '-' or with '.' tells which method is used (if in doubt).

Thanks, yeah sorry I meant on the Finnish chart I only saw what looked like the week number rather than a date. Thanks for the further explanation on the swedish chart page. Now I see that Track section with the whole chart run, not sure why I didn't notice that before.
