1. Cd's count for billboard but we can't find many in the stores.
2. We can't find many in the stores because people don't buy cd's any longer.
3. Streaming counts but 1,500 streams equal one cd sale.
4. If cd's aren't available everywhere and are, in fact, going by the way side, why are they used as a barometer for streams?
5. Someone somewhere mentioned something about GT streams not even counting towards billboard - wut?
6. Okay, so I'm streaming because I've bought a few hard copies when I find them, ordered on ITunes during the presale and then after the album release, bought off of Amazon, bought one at a store.
7. I've voted like crazy on the Subway poll and continue to vote on Z100 for Artist of the Summer.
8. I've followed all the radio stations in my area that will play Adam's sound.
9. I've established FB accts and twitter accts and new email accts for my alter ego.
10. I've followed all the programs that Adam has appeared on and thanked those giving him an interview.
11. Adam's album should finish in the Top 5 this week.
I feel like I am one of thousands of fans that are doing the same thing.
Does every artist have fans that do this just to get some radio play? What are we missing that radio wants from us to start playing Adam more frequently?
I feel like we've pressed all the available buttons and it's still not enough. I'd like to hear Adam more then once every few days.
Are the other fan bases requesting? Or, are their numbers just so large that we can't compete enough to make a difference?
I'm not disheartened in the least but just curious now what we should be doing after Sunday at midnight to keep forging ahead.
