There is something added to Adam's performances when he sings his own material. He just has an extra spark. Having waited 3 years for a new album, I just can't worry about how all this will play out. I just want to celebrate his gift to us. Adam really is my 'Original High'. EVERY time he performs I get that familiar jolt. tinafea, I am you!! Plus, I am so amazed and dazed how much his live performance sounds like his album! I can see how people would think he's lip syncing, but he always adds enough originality to each performance so that we know that he's not! I cannot with Evil In The Night!!!!!!! OMFG!! Watching & hearing that song live just does me in...completely!! Imagining how he will sing There I Said It almost makes me cry....just thinking of the emotion he will bring ..... oh my! I've been streaming for weeks, and cannot do it without listening. It's a good thing because songs that didn't hit me at first have wound their way around my heart, and I'm so in love with this album!!!!! Just smitten to the MAX!!! Whatever happens, happens. I know I've done everything I can. So has Adam & WBR. I'm with you in just celebrating his gift to us and enjoying every fucking minute of it!! Which I'm doing right now!!! It's been a tough week in RL and today is the start of my weekend!! I'm caught up and listening, streaming & enjoying the hell out of the music and our gorgeous Adam. He couldn't have looked betterer at GMA if he had tried!! OMFG!!!!!!!!! Ok, will post more later cause I have some stuff to share, good stuff. Just have to kick back & relax for a bit!! |

What the hell! How could a screw up like this happen?!! Well we know that the fan booklets themselves are printed because people have received them unsigned. I assume those stacks that Adam was signing in London have made their way to Tennessee by now. Really poor planning on the part of MyPlayDirect. I hate that my one add'l CD sale won't count this week it appears. If they sent you the download and you downloaded it they can count that as delivery I believe. In any case if the delayed CD's are the signed ones that's going to be maybe in the hundreds, not thousands of copies delayed and from what I have seen reported in the past they just have to have the orders picked up from them by the shipping company. That is what RCA Ed had reported during Trespassing when he was getting screamed at about shipment delays then. The expected delivery date thing had to do with the shipment of pre-orders before street date. In order to not be a street violation the expected delivery date could not be before the release date. But that's why some people got their cd's before release date. |

Just an FYI, I didn't order the signed bundle, I ordered the one with our name in the book thingy. It didn't ship till Wednesday and will get here next week. That's why I got the download email. Seems like all the fan bundles are running tardy. I rec'd my "unsigned" bundle today. Maybe it's a good thing to have some sales counted for week 2....I hate seeing a huge drop off.  |

Ok, I need to tell you my Adam related story. I've never really had one to tell before. Last week, I was at my DDIL's shop getting my hair done. She had on a pop radio station, and I asked her if she had heard Adam's GT. She said, OMG...yes!! Over & over, she said!! !! A bit later, my 7 year old Grandson joined us. (a bit on the OT, but he's such a beauty!! ) LOL!! Anyways, soon after he got there, GT started playing on the radio, with speakers everywhere! I looked at my GS & he was whistling along with the song. I asked him where he learned to whistle and he said he just could. I'm sitting there smiling my ass off!! LOL! Then, I see & hear him singing *My Heart Is a Ghost Town*!!! OMFG!!!! I look at my DDIL and she says, yep, he does it all the time! She really likes Adam and lets me go on & on..bless her, I'm so lucky to be blessed with 2 wonderful DDIL's. She did say that this station has been playing it over & over, for weeks. This is in Lincoln, NE. I was dumbfounded!!! LOL!! And then, after asking her twice, I forgot what station it was! DUH!! But, my excitement of watching my Gson sing GT & whistling to it just SO made my day!! He's a smart little dude, for sure. I think I'll get him the clean version, but not sure if they have a CD player? He already has his own Ipod, so who knows? I'll have to visit with my son about all that. So...have to say that I TOTALLY FUCKING LOVE THIS ALBUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMFG!!!!!!!!! I've listened to it over & over, and have grown to love some songs that I wasn't sure about at first. But, now I am and watching and listening to Adam sing them live, just makes me the happiest person in the world!! No matter where he charts, He will always be number 1 for me!!! And, he looks so fucking happy......ALL THE TIME!!!!!!! How does he do that? He has to be tired??? But, he goes on & on...and just does that thing!! The GMA was so amazing, going back to watch again since I didn't get to see it live. Another story about that later....hehehe! I know, I know...I do go on a bit when I finally post. Not gonna say sorry tho, cause I'm not. HEH!! |

I was watching those videos with the biggest smile on my face. Sometimes I feel like I'm falling in love with Adam all over again and it does not feel like I'm chasing the original high. It feels as new and fresh as the first time I fell under his spell.

But, TOH is just so damn amazing!! OMFG!! Even the songs I didn't think I would like, I love now. I do love some more than others, but that's only right..lol! And, if Adam's happy, then so am I!! I think Adam is my original high, from way back...like 6 years or so, but I wouldn't want to go back there because there is so much more good coming down right now!! His look at GMA today was just the best ever! Those shoes!! OMG! And, I love him in red...be it bright or dark. Ohhhhhhh The Light just came on....mmmmmmmmmmmm!! Took me a few listens, but it got me, as did all the others. Still have to close my eyes when I listen to TISI. Wow! |
