It sounds like they have already been shipped and you have been charged. The promised delivery dates of June 19th and 20th are within the first week time frame. I'm not an expert, but I still think that if they are shipped, they will count. I thought Amazon, etc. orders counted when they accepted your payment, credit card, etc. Same as when you pay for the CD in a store. Anyway, I ordered some TOH's from Amazon as gifts to the organization Q3 highlighted yesterday - and they shipped the same day. I mean when you pay in a store, the CD is sold. When you pay on Amazon, the CD is sold. That's my logic.  May be your logic but it is not how Nielsen Soundscan works. *** I really doubt that Amazon can change a delivery date for an item that is shipped, if they could it would not be to a Sunday because they ship via methods that do not deliver on Sunday. Just because your info says it will be delivered on June 22 does not mean that it will be reported to Soundscan with that date. In any case, TOH needs sales next week too. |

Well that sucks! Just checked my Amazon orders. The ones I pre-ordered MAY 10th have an estimated delivery date of June 22nd. The ones I gifted on Thursday June 18th have delivery dates of June 19th and June 20th. TOH at Amazon has AutoRip. So you can download NOW the MP3 files for the one you ordered for yourself. Then it should get counted when you download it even if that is the week before the expected delivery date. Unfortunately, gifted CDs at Amazon do not come with AutoRip. I do not believe that doing an Amazon AutonRip digital download will count. It is not the same as what MyPlay did for some of the orders. They added the digital download of the album to a bundle. Bundles are reported differently to Soundscan. Amazon let's CD purchasers rip the CD -- it is not a bundle sale, it is a CD sale. |

I've received a number of packages from Amazon on Sundays from FedEx & UPS. But then I have Amazon Prime and I am a good little Amazon shopper. CDs ordered on Amazon on release day all had an expected delivery date of Tues Jan 23 if using regular shipping. And they were offering $2 rebates to Prime members using regular shipping on some orders. So I took it when offered thinking I could use the savings to gift another CD. Oh well, they will count next week. Going to buy a couple more from stores this weekend. |

Laughing at myself right now. I had planned on my first post tonight to be about the GMA performance and Adam's leather pants. I got side tracked, which is not unusual for me...hehe! So, as my last post tonight, I'll post what I was thinking as I saw the performance *AND the pants*....... GMA: Adam...please don't wear really, really tight leather pants on the show. Adam: Ok, no problem......hehehehe Little did they know............................ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hahahahahhaaaa I don't usually swim in the shallow end (although I do luv to), but I just couldn't resist tonight. To be totally truthful, I completely and absolutely LOVED Adam's look today on GMA!! He couldn't have been more perfect if he had tried. I can't even explain how fucking gorgeous, etc., etc., he was/is!!!!!!!!! The shoes are to die for!!!!! And, OMFG...that shirt!!!!!!! Even after he got all sweaty....hahahahha!! Humidity sucks!! I dearly love the man!! No one can top Adam & his performance today was an A+++++++++++++++++++++++++++ in my book!! I'm just a very, very happy fan right now!! Adam is happy, the music is awesome, and all is well with the world. Night all!!! Hugsss!!  |

For Nielsen Soundscan reporting.... 1. Digital music, must be downloaded -- that constitutes delive 2. Direct to consumer CDs -- need to be shipped by the retailer with an expected delivery date before the end of the reporting week. So not actual delivery but EXPECTED DELIVERY. >> If you buy a CD and they give you a complete download with the purchase, that download can constitute delivery. >> Retailers have been know to use aggressive delivery dates -- meaning ship on Friday and say it will be delivered on Saturday. And...how bout that mic stand walk about???? OMFG!!!! And the very end............OMFGGGGGG!!! hahahaha!! Too much ... no no no...not too much, but wowowowow~!!!!! This song and how Adam executes it.........just no words can justify that one....he is one sexy MFer!!!!!!! WOWZA!!!!!!!!!!!!! On that note, I absolutely have to go to bed.
